thanks bro rapt with 2nd but i had a massive bit of luck when murray only scored 1 point who i didn't own...if murray does not get ruled out of the game i don't finish 2nd probably 4th or 5th.

Congratulations mate! What an awesome finish! You must be stoked

Thanks R&T mate! I didn’t think it was possible to go back to back, so I certainly won’t be thinking about a 3-peat!! Haha

thanks bro but you are a true champion so congrats...as well as being a very good fantasy player winning it in consecutive years you are also very humble & encourage/help others. bring on the 3-peat.

Congrats Concussed, White Lightning and StuDogg on your great years, and everyone in the three leagues for taking out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Big thanks to Milchcow for the BEs too.

Congrats to those finishing up at the business end of the rankings!
My first year playing VSDT and came out at 84th overall. I’ll definitely take that for my first year and look forward to building on it next year.

Don’t underestimate your charge to 2nd to finish the season mate, amazing effort! Thanks for the kind words though, I think it is only really starting to sink in now that it’s back to back and just how unlikely that is do achieve.

Thank you to everyone else on this forum as well! I would love this comp to be more popular and especially active with advice & encouragement on here next season, but I don’t think it will happen unfortunately.

Congratulations to everyone who won leagues or finished high (sorry I don’t know all your teams) or finished with a PB which is also an amazing achievement!

I really look forward to being able to watch the finals with no fantasy googles on, and enjoy the league for the game it is haha

Congrats everyone, but especially Concussed and WL! Huge 1,2 for the forum and going back to back won't be repeated in a hurry I'm sure.

I just snuck into 10th place and $75 which is a nice bonus

I received my 2nd place prize $A150 but because I live in NZ after they converted into NZ$ it was $166 so what a pleasant surprise getting extra.

Good stuff that you get a prize WL

I remember in previous years NZ residents weren't eligible for prize money (was that Fantasy/SC or both?)

I only just got back to them, though I did also get cheeky about not saving my details from last season, so they might take their time with me haha

I also thanked Adrian for keeping the VSDT game going, as it is by far the best, but it needs a heap more players to have the same prizes on offer than the other games unfortunately

Happy New Year ladies and gents!!

I hope everyone is fit and firing, ready for another Dream Team season?

I must say I was very close to hanging up the boots (so to speak) at the end of last season. After the crazy and emotionally draining 2021 win for our boy (RIP), and then the sheer ecstasy of going back to back in 2022, I was more than ready to go out on the high. Thanks to a good mate and an amazing wife (who understands the life of an NRL watcher) I will go around again. Just like the Panthers I have had a small break and will ramp up the training/homework leading into season 2023, and together them and myself will be gunning for the 3 peat! If we come up short, no shame on that, but may as well try eh… 😄 HaHa

Good luck to you all, there are some very good players on this forum, and with the new bye structure etc…it is bound to be a cracker!

    Happy new year all!

I'm definitely ready for another season. I reckon after 2 wins in a row, the pressure is well and truly off you now. That may well be a recipe for a 3rd straight title though as you can relax and just make changes free of the burden of expectation. If you do go 3 in a row though, you will certainly be top of the NRL RDT hall of fame! As ever I think you may have competition from several users on this site though. So, best of luck to you and all of your challengers who are active on this forum.

For me, im really excited at the prospect of going into my 3rd season of RDT. The first i quit after 4 rounds and the 2nd season was a great learning experience. Im hoping the 3rd is where i hit my straps. Ive done fairly well in SC and i had one great round in Fantasy but im hoping to be competitive in all 3 formats this season.

Anyway, good luck to everyone on here and heres to a great season...starting in (just) 44 days time!

Can you PM you're starting team? Not serious.
Good luck this year and feel no pressure. You've done what none of has done and that's so cool.
