Round 1 I would imagine King plays lock, then back to the bench in round 2, but going off his scores last year, he only needs 35ish mins to average 35-40, and is priced at 28. Given our lack of middle forwards, I think he's a good chance to get those minutes, or potentially more since Cheese would be taking Finucane's minutes so someone would have to fill his own spot on the bench.

Surely Moeroa will benefit from this situation somehow? Cheaper at 240k

Was looking at Dylan Edwards for a return to 2020 scoring after some njury effecting runs, TB nerf probably effects him too heavily

He might get a start round 1 with the suspensions, but longer term I think he'll be a bench nuffie and a waste of your money

Doesn't look like you can fit; Cleary, Aitken, Burton, Sexton, Pappy, and Hynes. Not that many were probably looking to try.

    Edit: and Grant

Knights expected to struggle, but may take an early punt on Ponga

Chances of Hynes struggling for scoring playing half for Sharkies, hopeful of a few weeks of poor scoring and a move back to fullback and being priced much cheaper for an early season cash cow updgrade

Timoko an option for cheapish CTR. Some big scores in limiited samples

Ponga relies a lot on TB's, not sure if values were adjusted there or not. Hynes looks value if playing alongside Moylan (assuming he is kicking goals) to me.

    Yep, my thoughts exactly

Without Pearce I'd expect a boatload more attacking play through Ponga close to the line, should offset his TB loss. clsoe to 60 avg year previous

More of a deep dive on Hynes, avg of 58 when playing over 70 mins. He didn't kick for 5 games at storm but not sure you can add addtional conversion points at the sharks because there won't be as many tries score so his 6 point game average looks about right.

If next to Moylan he could absolutely rack up the KM, just been added to shortlist

Hynes definitely on the watchlist but do you pick him over papy or do you pick both papy and hynes? There are prob too many cheaper halves to pick him as a half

At the moment I wouldn't pick Hynes over Sexton or Pappy, and not sure I have room for all 3.

But if he is next to Moylan he should see bulk kicking meters which weren't a big stat from him last year.
Already has some goalkicking priced in.

Keeping an eye on him but at this point, not in my team

Might be Trindall then makes it easier to avoid I guess?

It was said earlier in the thread I think, but Hynes scored a lot of points by the opposition focusing on Munster/BSmith/Hughes/Paps/Grant. He'll be in a pretty ordinary Sharks side, and the focal point of attack.

Definite, definite no from me. Especially at that price.

What if Moylan is at 6, but they name Trindall on the bench?

How many teams make subbing one of their starting halves out during the game a regular part of their game plan.
