What grinds my gears is when people tell complete strangers what they consider appropriate behaviour for supporting their team.

If people don't want to wait around 30 minutes to watch a bunch of men lift a trophy from 100m away, does it really matter.

Yeah I was attempting to explain why the rule is what it is to my 8yos.

Clearly would just have kickers smashing grabbers into defenders legs instead of attacking kicks with Gus’s interpretation, be a terrible outcome

I wasn’t paying full attention post-game but I think Fittler had a bit of a subtle dig at the rant.

It wasn’t the fairytale we were after but I couldn’t be more proud making the Grand Final, 14 teams didn’t get this far and it wasn’t a flogging only 2 points in it.



It’s now the end of an era with Reyno, Gagai, Su’a and Wayne etc moving on and now into a bit of a rebuild but we have some great young talent so the future still looks bright.


I will miss Reyno the most but he’s given us  so so many great memories that I will never forget. I can only wish him the best of luck from here, he will always be a Rabbitoh!


Overall it has still been a brilliant season.

I was supporting the Panthers, but the Rabbits played with a heck of a lot of courage and with a couple of calls going their way, the result may have been a different story.

Rumoured to be $400k per season (2 years) - much less than half what Mbye got... (but then again, we're still paying a chunk of Mbye's contract)

Tigers won't have Doueihi for half the season, so he may be an adequate 5/8 gap-filler

400k isn't too bad. Difficult for Tigers to attract quality at the moment.

If Broncos made that deal I'd be annoyed though.

That Peachey deal seems ok to me - I think he could easily come on after 25 and carve up like Connor Watson-lite. Better fit for the role than Mbye at half the price.

For me it depends on the salary. He's still a decent player IMO. So many people say he's overrated I reckon he's now underrated. Like what happened with Adam Blair.

I don't mind it entirely - I think he was meant to be on $1.5mil over 3 years at the Titans.

I can see he'd add some value & experience, and TBH it'd probably be the best "experienced" signing the Tigers would've made in quite some time....
(No offence to BJ Leilua, Jet Roberts, Tamou, Packer, J Reynolds, Mbye, Ben Matulino et al - and given that half of that lot were meant to be North of $700k)

More importantly, seems unlikely Peachey will get CTR DPP next year, having not played centre this. More likely MID/HLF.
