Good game, Panthers played “Finals Football” (TM) - superior kicking game, rock solid defence. Souths had a bit more shifting wide but just didn’t get enough sniffs. Gritty. Souths probably win if their regular fullback hadn’t lost the plot in a regular season, but he did and they didn’t.
Lowlight for me was Gould ranting about referees following the rules correctly because he doesn’t like the rules. He would love a bunch of Dennis DeNutos out there reffing games based on the vibes rather than actual laws. Remembered why I pay for Kayo - Gus-free footy. Plus my kids watch some of that ESPN Ocho shit.

Well I’m gutted yes but also very very proud of the boys. They gave it everything that they had and then some and kept hanging in with some of the gutsiest defence defending our try line that I have seen. It wasn’t the fairytale we were after but I couldn’t be more proud making the Grand Final, 14 teams didn’t get this far and it wasn’t a flogging only 2 points in it.
It’s now the end of an era with Reyno, Gagai, Su’a and Wayne etc moving on and now into a bit of a rebuild but we have some great young talent so the future still looks bright.
I will miss Reyno the most but he’s given us so so many great memories that I will never forget. I can only wish him the best of luck from here, he will always be a Rabbitoh!
Overall it has still been a brilliant season.

I figured it was because he was so clearly biased towards Panthers last year, that he had Rein it massive to stay relevant commentary-wise. Biased commentator-101 if you will.

Actually think it's one of his best posts.
Anyway, I think it was a cracker of a game. Well done Panthers and commiserations Bunnies. Was genuinely entertaining I think for even the casual observer.

Congrats to the Panthers, well deserved premiers after looking shot a month ago.
Considerations rabbits, they missed you in the crowd tonight. I have to say I was super disappointed in the rabbits crowd tonight. Had 80% of the support but when the game was on the line and the team needed a lift they were as quiet as a mouse.
Whole spectacle was a bit meh for me, It ddint feel the same as the 3 GFs I've been to in Sydney. Panthers winning the premiership was strange as it was so quiet at the end as they didn't have a lot of support and a lot of bunnies fans had left.
Also grinds my gears when you are wearing a jersey of a team who you apparently support but leave before the end of the game/presentation to get the early train home. Lot of Panthers fans did this. How many times are you going to see your team win a premiership at Suncorp. Kents

Congratulations Penrith, well deserved, and commiserations to fellow Bunnies supporters. i thought the team did us proud. Can’t wait for next year.
Mostly sad to see Reynolds fall short in his last game - he’s just a humble, hard working guy who gives his all to the team and makes those around him look better. i hope he has the same impact with the Broncs.
