Cleary back for 6 rounds is huge. Going to fuck many a team, either for running with out him or ruining team balance to bring him in. Either way. Many trades will be used.

Haha. Panic trade rd13 when schuu was a late out. Was him or wade. To be fair he’s done me alright but is definitely a trade out now just working out the when part. If he loses his spot it’s this week, otherwise it’s a green dot in a crazy week’

I panic traded Wade at the same time. Nikora would've been better.

    I'm in Chucky's camp too.

    It's not comparing apples, but if I gave you this proposition next year;

    Nathan Cleary
    Price: 1.2mil
    Priced at average: 100 points
Fitness: Carrying a shoulder injury with a high risk of reinjury.
He will be nursed through the year and could be reinjured at any point (or even have his shoulder jarred and taken off as a precaution).
May or may not impact his scoring (won't impact kicking, front-on tackling, but no reach-out tries or grasping tackles) etc.

Would you think the upside is worth the risk?
The big difference would be managing him through a season vs maybe 5 or 6 games, but then again you start a season with 34, whereas right now you probably have 5, 6, 7 trades and will likely need to use 2 to get him back?

I'm still undecided, but I think his pre-injury scoring and the recent Harris captaincy may be making it a more desirable trade than it probably really is.

    My 14-21 this week:

    14. Fog
    15. Schuster
    16. Walsh
    17. Tohu (L)
    18. Brailey
    19. CHN
    20. Verrils
    21. Savage

Brailey & CHN the best options for the L**p?

Replace Cleary in your argument with Turbo and ask all those who didn’t get on how it worked out for them.

Hmm, not sure if Lucy to Murray is going to be worth it this week if Cleary could be back that soon.

I can do Moses/SJ to Cleary in 1 trade if they stay above 670k

So expect both of them to score well below their BE this week just to mess with my budget

Hey guys I was looking at Tohu to Ipap but won’t now with Tohu in the reserves..... also was considering Hynes to Ponga but can wait a week I think. Other thought was is it worth cashing out Peachey to a cash out and then upgrading Brailey to Mahoney, or is that too sideways? Other thought was Brailey to Ipap but would just be left with Macca and Verrills at hooker. Can only upgrade Brailey if I cash out Peachey but it leaves me no centre cover.

Other thought was hold trades and try get Cleary back but how could I do that with such a low back?....

Team with 5 trades and 52k spare is

    Macca
    Angus Haas Tohu
    Fifita CHN
    DCE Moses
    Ramien Manu
    Teddy Turbo Walsh

    Hynes SJ Schuster Brailey
    Olakau’atu Verrills Peachey Suaali

Seems too obvious. When does Des ever reveal plans?

    Tommy playing.

Good to see a lot of similar missions to mine!

    Can go Fifita this week trading Matto (single trade) which leaves only 5K left 6 trades and this team;

    Brailey
    AFB Haas Tolo
    IPap Fifita
    SJ Fog
    Manu Burton
    Ted Hynes Walsh

    Crichton CHN Watson Moses

    Bird Peach Laurie Verrills

Not sure if something like Laurie and Peach to say Schoupp and Fifita is the better play this week leaving 119K and taking their high BE's into consideration. Not sure yet, depends if Ted backs up. Probably would rather have to play Laurie over Schoupp.

I mean we all expected Turbo not to play 2 days after Origin - but then why even name him in the first place?
