Discussion here - https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t1702-rd-17-discussion. With 11 trades, we probably have a bit more wriggle room than most teams - getting in extra players this week while saving enough bank to get Fifita back seem to be the priority. Some questions about depth too, especially at hooker. We'll also need to keep half an eye on Rd 18 - suspect most teams will struggle to field 17 given the short turnaround from Origin.

Since it’s currently deadlocked FWIW I went 2 trade - Harris/Jones out. Not keen on trading Schuster or Brialey when they are going to be useful R18*

*Schuster was originally due to return R14 but this time he’s back for sure

We were happy to trade Cleary last week, but now he's not an option?

I dont see why we are holding Schuster. May be back next week but surely limited time due to injury and this is the week we wanted him

yeah, should have thought to add him in. no-one threw him up as part of their trade discussions, i guess because we have enough options (and cash) already...

I agree (I voted for him out). This is going to end up with a slightly wierd vote - I think a few people who voted for three trades didn't tick the number of trades, because the numbers don't add up...

I voted for two trades (Harris & Jones ---> AFB & Savage) but would have no problem with Getting rid of Schuster as well.

I voted for 3 but think Taaffe would be a better cashout than Savage. I don't like his JS but I'd expect to count the cashout in the 17 for only this round.

Every chance we need WFB for both round 17 and 18 with Turbo unlikely to back up, maybe missing Teddy and if Papenhuyzen returns and pushes Hynes to the bench.

Do we have a plan for how we decide results of the poll?

Currently 9 people want 2 trades
But 9 people want 3 or more

Hopefully we get a few more votes to give us a clear decision

And do we need a captaincy poll
Other than a potential trade in SJ looks the obvious choice

I voted 3. Jones, Schuster, Harris out for lolo afb savage. I think the Cashout should be wfb, not necessarily savage, but probably few other options.

I was going to put up a quick captaincy poll now, but suggest instead we just go with the consensus pick of SJ.

On the trade poll outcomes, we've currently got more votes for 3 (10) or 4 (3) than for 2 (13). Switching Filth's vote swings further, so I'm happy also to waive through 3 trades of:

Harris -> Taumalolo
Schuster -> AFB
Jones -> Savage

If anyone has any objections prior to lockout, feel free to post them below...

And in the next 2 weeks w want to decide on our final 17 hooker and bring them in too

$454k, 8 trades left. Should be plenty to upgrade say Brailey/Matterson/CHN/Watson/Hynes etc to Fifita and Cook/Mahoney/Macca etc. Or we could do Cleary plus Savage/Suaalii, with a fair bit left over too.

Hopefully we get a progress update on Cleary next week.

If he is out for a while Cleary + Suaalii to Fifita + Hooker is a big upgrade
