So I don't mean to beat a deadhorse about my earlier point, but Ravalawa arguably did as much work as Williame in the other try. Sure he didn't need to run as far, but Dufty created less of a "chance" for try-scoring than Bird did earlier (imo).

If you disagree that's fair, but I'm just confused about how the rule is being applied. Is there a "distance out from the line" unspoken rule or something? TA only allowed within the 20m line?

I get what you mean and that's why it's a subjective stat. I don't think anyone thinks you're mental for suggesting it. It's an offload from Bird that results in a try due to Williame breaking multiple tackles. Dufty throws the cut out ball and Ravalawa beats a few to plant it down, I think because it's more of a pass that actually creates the opportunity instead of an offload that results in a try is how it's ruled.
