TPJ -> Haas could be an option. Both averaging 55-60 (since TPJ moved to 80m edge role)

Physio translation of the info we have is that his ligament damage was from contact not from stretching (tearing) of the ligament fibres. Effectively like a bone bruise. They will needle it to reduce pain and inflammation and he will likely be fine.

I’d imagine at a stronger club they would rest him but I’d be surprised if the Broncos did. You guys would be amazed how many players get needled pre game each week. Usually a 4-5 player line up for the doc

Make of that info whatever you want. I’m looking to get haas in when he bottoms out in a few weeks

Just the Mann I was looking for. Likelihood of Mann playing. Looking at Mann>Hunt as potential keeper but pained to use trade on player that plays Rd 13

My #1 learning last year was "Don't overthink matchups and just captain your highest average - twice I took it off McInness in the last month, and those weeks he scored 90 & 83, compared to my captains scoring 45 and 55."

    That cost me top 1,000.

If I follow that advice it's Brailey or iPap.

Hynes against the Titans without DiFi, MoFo, Tino and Brimson coming off a 100 and a 90 is bloody tempting though.

I'm going with Captain Beans, with Burton being the runner up, Brailey the 3rd options, and Mahoney in 4th position.

Lucy the POD Balls option for his potential rd13 banner

I am undecided at the moment though a tad concerned that Keaon was added to the NSW squad.

thanks for the info. I'm looking at getting Haas in the team too for the run home.
I could use a needle for this weekend's game too, I recovered well from the light ankle sprain a few weeks back, but I have significant bruising on my knee from last round's game

Who would you rather hold, Schuster or To'o?

Thinking now keeping To'o and downgrade Simo to Suaali to turn Schuster into Hynes. Hmmm.....

To'o is going to bleed cash for a while so if he gets you Hynes this week for points and to get a keeper later (ideally who can score more than To'o) when Hynes hits his expiry date it's not a terrible plan imo. If i keep To'o it will be in the hopes that he scores well enough for my final 17. Risk either way

    a) Pap, Starling, Simpkin to Macca, TPJ, May, 15 this round

    b) Starling + Simpkin to Macca + Jones, 14 this round

    c) Starling to Burton, wait for a better cashout for Simpkin, 13 this round

I meant to trade Pap last week, but fucked it and traded Crichton instead. It seems a bit wasteful to trade him now though with Teddy and Walsh probably gone next week and a chance he plays.

B is my current preference, that's solid right?

Looking to do B myself mate, but Bhunt and Kelly in rather than Maccs / Jones.

Better comparison would be someone like Sivo playing the Broncos at Bankwest. It's a 1 week play that might be worth a gamble if it cost 300k. I wouldn't go anywhere near it at 500k

I'm not saying I would either. Just pointing out that you said you wouldn't go near someone for a game when they are in a position that can put up a 20, which he isn't (this week)(probably).

I made that trade when I needed a centre for two weeks, most of the options were shit, he was 20k cheaper, and had the upside of a possible couple of games at half, which has panned out pretty well so far. I intend to trade him out again. Not sure I'd bring him in now though.

In R2/3, why did Brodie Jones play 0 minutes? Just not used?

Basically asking how secure is his bench spot at full strength.

That's because they have probably max traded trying to stay relevant. I heard there are big prizes on offer for being at the top at the 50 metre mark of a 100 metre race

Couldn't that same argument be applied for people max trading this round? when he are at the half way point in the comp? it sounding like alot of people will be in the low teens for trades after this week. Thats scary given the way this season has played out.
