I love a punt on the footy but its shit to bring it into the actual coverage.
gambling companies sponsor a number of the teams. "neds" is written on the back of the Tigers kit.
It's already well and truly throughout the game.

Fullbacks are where it's at under the new rules.
Excluding S. Crichton when he plays there

Yeah mate, for sure. The game relies on sponsorship dollars, i get that. There has to be a line drawn somewhere and id prefer the lead commentator wasnt talking punts when hes bored of the game.

The trick is to pick all the WFBs but only the ones that score well.

Think I had a rant about this a while ago....we have all become so desensitised to it but it’s become pervasive (only realised when watching a game with my 8 year old who was asking heaps of questions about the betting references)

Yeah was playing a bit of devils advocate there - I'd love gambling sponsorship to go the way of tobacco but it won't happen anytime soon.
Agree that commentators shouldn't bring it up but they do. They talk about horse racing a fair bit and there's always cross-promotional advertising too, especially on Foxtel.

Carried the (broken) Jet for every round that he scored less than 10.
Trade him out to Sualli for some cover and the prick grabs a double.
You know what you can do Roberts.
On another note.
Got Alvaro in the loop with Starling, take Alvaro's 39 in the bank or risk Starling going better?
TU - stick with the Polar Bear
TD - set the Starling free to fly

Happy with new trade-in Luciano's game.
Mbye was looking shaky at half time, but came through with h a perfectly cromulent CTR score

I always mention that one of the big differences I noticed when moving over here from NZ was the gambling culture or how gambling is so interwoven into society here.

386/7 for me. Annoyed about Laurie but can’t complain too much.

Does not compute
I'd go Starling though. Last week wasn't much less 39 and can be tough for mids vs. Storm when they're spreading it constantly.

Not particularly looking forward to Leniu, Watson, Burton and Matterson attempting to bring home a big total.
