    What no song and dance about the anthem & Aussie HAKKA or the Roosters 3 WC fullbacks fitting into the salary cap or special dispensation for Cook Island players ?? Almost forgot Pathers players getting a well earned rest and not being picked to play in the opening game against some 5th tier minnow team.

    Well, after Des seemingly agreed to a host of changes and concessions, Manly have done what was looking increasingly inevitable and sacked Des Hasler anyway.

    The third reign of Anthony Seibold is incoming, will it be more successful than his second reign, only time will tell.

    On a personal note, it's a little surreal watching something like this play out and it not being the Tigers.

    Premiership coach with deep ties to the club sacked in acrimonious circumstances ✅

    Gee Samoa were poor. I know they haven’t had much prep time but that never caused Tonga to perform that badly in the past.

    Fair play to England who I can’t recall seeing play that straight and fast for a long time. They dominated even before the procession at the end

    Effectively a mid-table NRL side just got pumped by England. Like every arrogant Aussie who thinks SL is shithouse I really thought the result would be a win the other way by a couple of tries.

    Suddenly very interested to see Ireland v Lebanon, and whether France has improved.

    Problem with world cup being in England is they don't have the crowd support that gets them up and about.

    Guarantee they don't lose like that in the southern hemisphere.
