Who would you guys leave out of the 17 out of Walker, Walsh, Egan and CHN?

Not sure if it's smart to trade him in now with the number of trades remaining. Maybe I'm missing something. Are people expecting him to make a shit ton of coin before offloading him? What if Pap doesn't play Origin, does he slot into 5/8?
On the contrary, as someone with him already I have no idea what to do with him long term
Probably be cashing him in, although originally thought he might be a keeper as cover for Papenhuyzen but having sold Papenhuyzen probably redundant now

I just saw Tyrone May is in doubt with concussion. I missed the second half of the game, did anyone see it? Enough to maybe keep him out? I'd hate to lock in a trade for a centre replacement who then doesn't play on game day.

IMO if you have Beans already then great - just ride the wave
If you don't, he's only worth bringing in if you have the trades to get him back out after he makes you some cash. 19 or 20 trades would be sufficient I think
At the same price point, you're better off getting Starling and taking a punt on him being a season long keeper (which Hynes is not going to be when Munster/Grant/Papi are all fit)

Reliability ranking
CHN
Egan
Walker
Walsh (if bench)
I would be inclined to maybe take a punt on Walker over Egan this week and then play Walsh if he starts as well

I’ve been reading the late mail updates.
Late Mail: Cody Ramsey is in some doubt with an ankle injury, but the depleted Dragons may have little choice but for him to play through the pain.
And
Late Mail: Bunty Afoa is in doubt due to a shoulder injury and will need to get through the captain’s run. Marcelo Montoya was named to return on the wing, but will need to pass a fitness test on his knee. If Montoya is ruled out Roger Tuivasa-Sheck could shift to the wing with Reece Walsh shifting from the bench to fullback.

Late mail says Kenny, but who knows really, maybe Momo! Really scaring me off trading him in and might just go with MBye, dunno. As I said I didn't see it to gauge how bad it was.

Yeah, that's my thinking. Although Starling is about 70K more expensive.

Probably should have checked first - thought Hynes was more on the high end of 400k. But yeah - I did bring in Starling last week, and I can't get in Hynes with my low trade count. But if I had the choice between those two this week, I'd go Starling

I’d probably grab Starling if I was in the position too. Roberts and Hampton lock out pretty early this week so kinda need to decide tonight ok who comes in. I do like the symmetry of two Storm playerswolfking wrote:

Yeah, I have 17 trades so want to get Starling now and I'm confident he becomes a bench keeper. Definitely more reassuring than worrying about Hynes later on. Definitely great money making though.

Before all of this I was on Olam and Teddy.wolfking wrote:

With my rank in freefall I feel I do need to target the first bye better

Ooohh, I like that. Tough. Could go Hynes and get Ted later I guess. You have the trades to.

I’m warming to Mbye as well.wolfking wrote:

At worst he goes back to the same bench role that May has.
His scores at 5/8 are encouraging for a back up CTR.

Have 6 other red dots that I can trade out instead. Will be at the bottom of my trade out list for a while I expect.mintotheimmortal wrote:for anyone who has Curran or just anyone with an opinion would it be dumb to hold him? can field 17 without trading him so tempted to hold cause I actually think he's showing promising signs of being a really good player, had a top 3 workrate in magic round before getting injured

Yeah can definitely get Teddy another time. 600k is still pretty cheap if he annihilates the Broncos.wolfking wrote:

Olam and Hynes could score a lot of points over the next month with the schedule they have. Can make these trades and keep Pappy in EMG as well
