Ha, I can't even consider Kris. One of my rivals has had him since day dot and I've been mocking him since. Recent scores are making me keep quiet, no way I could bring him in now!

for anyone who has Curran or just anyone with an opinion would it be dumb to hold him? can field 17 without trading him so tempted to hold cause I actually think he's showing promising signs of being a really good player, had a top 3 workrate in magic round before getting injured

You’ve got a good amount of trades left I’d trade Pap. Can get him back in after origin when he’s cheaper.

I think he's a definite sell. Made his money, doesn't play R13, not even guaranteed a starting spot when he returns with the way the Warriors have chopped and changed on the edge & him dropping to the bench last week.

I agree. Like any engine building game there are times where getting Victory Points is more important than cash generation or saving trades for that matter.
Rd13 is the perfect opportunity to get those extra VPs

I'm using my first trade on simpkin to starling which leaves 2k itb to then sell curran but I'm not real keen on any of the options. Walsh is tempting but still named on the bench makes me a bit wary.

Any players under 498k that I should be looking at

My strategy of going rd13 heavy early seems like it's going to pay off. With all the injuries and suspensions lately, other coaches have been forced to burn trades to get 17 on the field instead of saving trades for a good bye round strategy.
This may work in my favour. I will have a quality team on the field in rd13

Just did a quick check for anyone who's interested.

Rank of 13,000th (me) is only 100 points off the top 10,000.

Don't think I'm gonna make that up this round but should be back to four figures in a couple of rounds hopefully and every chance of a big boost in round 13 if I can keep a decent squad together.
