What would people's reactions be if I said-

    "Alex Seyfarth."

BE of 6, scored 20 in 28mins in R7. Since then, he's played around 40mins in R8, R9 and R10. Scored 39, 35 and 38. Hasn't got much history to go on, but when he's on the field he seems to be scoring real close to a point per minute.

Any reason he doesn't keep playing about 40mins each week for about 40 points?

I know i just said above that I was all about avoiding players from weak teams, but I keep hearing this dude's name on the telecast, wondering why he's getting so much game time. And now, first time I look at him, I notice it's translating into fantasy points too.

Anyone got a reason to avoid him, or is he worth considering as a replacement for Niu? Wouldn't mind a MID too. Is he a safer bet than Faamausili?

Whichever of Simpkin/Leniu/Stefano you think is least likely to play R13 --> Moses

Trade is that obvious you probably don't need to crowd-source opinions on it Razz

Are you playing 0 at C until R13 or what? I figure people have no issue trading players in and out for their 50 points during the bye round. I see no difference by trading in May for two 25s (that would otherwise be 0s) with potential upside for mins in R13.

So thinking Swalker to Starling and Fui to NZ Walsh. Seems there's money and points to be made there but I'm running out of trades. And now $1k ITB.

No, he is not Sam McIntyre but jeez it made me think of him as I typed that spiel... except McIntyre was only scoring 30's last year.

Yep, it's legitimately going against everything I said I'd learned in 2021 (about picking players from bad teams, likely to get dropped and changed), but I'd be lying if I said I didn't find myself tempted.

Nah, I have Cleary at C until round 13. Will probably captain Brailey in the bye week whether Pap plays or not.

But I don't think Pap is a done deal for Origin One if he's played one game in six weeks and NSW have other options like Wighton or Guth to play 14. Still probable (and certain for games two and three if he's fit), but not definite. Would be a handy bonus to holders if he's available.

Oh, yeah centre. I'm swallowing pride and buying back Averillo (for Simonson). Now I have Peachey and Averillo plus Crichton who can cover back five. And hopefully they can stay in the squad all year and I don't have to trade cenrres ever again.

Sorry dudes, I know I'm grasping at straws but what about Billy Burns? Will he keep centre spot until Lomax is back, or would Wiliame start over him next week when he's back?

And then do Burns, Ford and Faamausili squabble amongst themselves for the last starting spot when Sims in back next week? Makes me question the value in Faamausili too. No guarantee he retains a starting spot next week, or plays many more minutes than he has been playing?
