Do you go cheap and risky like Lodge/Haumole or spend up?

I went with Lodge last week....happy so far, expect a thump back to earth this week but that’s what you get for being a bargain hunter

Haumole a bit risky with Siro back soon, no? I like Lodge though. But what does going cheap get you in return? Upgrade elsewhere or just cash sitting there?

    This weeks fires to put out for my team;

    - Riki, BS9 and Turpin loss of role
    - Simmonson, Papi and Niu all red dots
    - Have no WFB/CTR coverage and need to trade in a WFB to field 17

    Have prioritised as such

    - Traded Riki to Simpkin + Niu to To'o (Got rid of one guy from each category)
    - BS9 and Turpin can both wait a week to be traded to a cow and gun if needed
    - Will have WFB cover when Papi is back

Will have 2 red dots but can use to get 3 cracks at the loop between Leniu, Turpin and Swalker

Well keeping it simple hampton is much cheaper and 'potential' to make some cash
Some of that risk has been removed a bit with the cowboys winning so should get some more time there.
Crichton is more of a cut price keeper that you could use for cover, but I don't know if I would pay 423k for an 18th man in round 7

Yeah exactly. Seems stifling a position too early.

Yeah think its rds 6-8 so not far away, Schuster stays in place and Haumole back to bench

Will have to see how the upgrades work out, Lodge feels like Ah Mau was 4 weeks ago and has proven fairly consistent averaging 46pts
His timing will hopefully allow him to peak around rd14 after the bye
The cash saved might let me makes some other upgrades

Playing catchup now so might need to make some tactical gambles

TU: Leniu to Lomax, get a top 2 centre in for the rest of the year, but then have to rotate Lomax/Momo/Bird after round 10

TD: Leniu to Hampton, plug him in while Momo's out and use the saved money on other upgrades

10.52pm: Verdict. Latrell Mitchell has failed in his bid to have his charge downgraded and will miss four games as well as having 20 carryover points.

In all honesty I want Mitchell to succeed, but sometimes that requires some tough love.
It was not necessary to fling out the arm, or kick-out to a player grabbing your leg.

are you saying I get an extra 20 points if he's in my team?

How do these trades look guys?

    Liddle to Turbo
    Riki to Simpkin

Really wanted to bring in Moses this week but needed a WFB first and these trades leave me with 321k bank so I hopefully can trade Leniu/Turpin to him next week. Team looks like this:

    Brailey
    Alvaro Crichton Watson
    Fifita Harris
    Cleary Schuster
    Roberts Hampton
    Teddy Turbo Laurie

    Turpin
    Egan
    Simpkin
    Walker

    Stefano
    Leniu
    Papy
    Niu

    Thoughts?

I can't prioritise him this week, definitely safe for another week with low BE.

Good trades, and yes getting Moses next week will help with the extra EDGE cover having Schuster on the bench
