Full disclosure I know none of these players are anywhere near Payne Haas's fantasy ability apart from Lolo... but Panthers have held their opposing front rowers/Locks (starting and bench) to an average of 35.6 with Jackons 72 the only real outlier. I know these guys aren't at the level of Haas but Panthers middle are just tearing through other teams.

Another disclosure - Panthers have only beat Cows, Dogs, Storm and Manly... This is why I think Raiders will win this week

Pretty pointless comparing averages of worse players who will play less mins to someone like Haas who is playing 65 mins

Since it is impossible to play 17 in Rd 13 and Rd 17, how many players would you consider playing in each of these rounds?
Do you make all 12 trades between rounds and then have to make another 8-10 to put your team back together after Rd17?

Trading Leniu > Lussick Seems a no brainer? Gives me 80 odd K plus a similar average for cheaper and possibility of some attacking stats for a couple months?

I wouldn’t mind getting Lussick in, there’s just no way possible to get him and Walker this week Crying or Very sad

I guess it came across wrong... I think what I was trying to say is Panthers will probably shut down the Broncos middle. Haas was able to accrue some attacking stats last night while Bunnies shut down for a bit... I don't think Panthers give them that choice.

Wouldn’t say a no brainer but if you need the cash for something and don’t mind using a few trades keeping in mind he’ll have to go again in a few weeks then go for it

Already have Walker... Just can't shake this feeling Leniu manages a 50+ point game sooner rather than later but the smart thing is to trade to Lussic?

Gives me 331K to try and get Haas/Grant/other in

Keeping an eye on the likes of DCE, Fogarty, Turbo, Cook, Lolo, Moses.

Another thing in the back of my mind is I didn't start with Leniu, he was a trade in after R1 so I feel dirty for ditching him

Is it possible Haas hasn't had as reduced minutes so far because broncos are playing croft for 2 min off the bench? If they decide not to carry a "half" on the bench do you then see the reduced minutes as they try to keep the middle fresher for defence mayhaps

Why? Last week he went off and came back on for Mikaele. He's not good enough to play 80

I've given a detailed response to that question here

Because Mbye has been spelling him at 9... this week they don't have a spare utility (unless you can MCK a utility) on the bench because Mbye is playing ctr

Haas is last middle to come off for a spell and first to come back on. If they wanted to give him a spell they could easily bring Lodge or TPJ back on first. I think his floor is 60 minutes and will be first to play 80 if there is an injury.

Would have liked to see the rotation with Carrigan this week, but I think Haas will continue to put up 65+ average

I know and yet still doesn't guarantee Liddle won't get usual 20 min rest

But that rotation you're describing involves 1 bloke who absolutely will not play in the middle. Rather than bringing someone back early does he get chipped another 5-10min if they have a fresh body to throw into the mix. Happy if it doesn't happen, but trying to figure out if it may. I think the donkeys middle is woeful defensively so can't understand why they don't have a havilli/Bsmith type guy on the bench as the 14 (assuming broncos have one?) who has a bit more versatility than brody fucking croft in case its needed and when its not, just plays in the middle.

We don't really have anyone, no. Asiata is already that guy I guess. The rotations have been terrible but a different 17th man, from the options we have, isn't going to change things. May as well just be an outside back to cover an injury.
