Cowboys suck, probably won’t be there this week or next as they rotate again.

Leniu isn’t making any money and I’m not playing him in my 17 before my other 3 emergencies so he is out for Ipap. Other than my garbage fire centres and possibly Capewell I’m pretty happy with my 17 so only one trade for the week after maxing ever week so far. Currently at 1333

Not sure which guns you ended up with over Fifita, but as long as they are performing well I wouldn't be swapping. Most guns are capable of those monsters we are seeing, we just haven't struck gold yet

Not sure how he did v the Green Machine last year, but I have a hunch that Fifita is the way to go this week(plus I’ll be at that game cuz Newcastle is in town). Against a weakened Knights side, I can see my Titans being a bit more expansive and hopefully some huge non base stats for Fifita. Really need Fogarty to be good to go to drive the team around the park, as well. Gotta take a risk sometimes.

Edit: suppose I should check the weather report for Saturday?
I'm obviously suuuuuper biased, even more so as a non Cleary owner, but I think he has a much tougher time this week for sure. Should see a bit of tougher traffic directed at him and (hopefully) better defence, plus if last week was a preview we seemed to put fantastic pressure on the kicker in the form of James, so you'd assume against a team where its so obvious who's taking the kick the same thing happens again. That said god knows, matchups raaaaaaaaaaarely ever work out that way and you'd be kicking yourself if you don't captain him and he does what he's done every other week.

TLDR; If I owned him I'd captain still, but as a non owner I'm sliiiiiiightly less worried about this week.

I'm surprised this is 8-0 to people thinking he will average 70s. Career average of 58 as a starting second rower and we have seen plenty of times before where he has gone on a run like this. End of 2019 he scored 72, 100, 90 and 65 in 4 of the last 5 weeks. But still only managed to average 57 as a starter. If you don't have him now (I don't) I'd absolutely be looking elsewhere

Agree. On the mobile and couldn't be arsed typing a proper response. Basically what you said.

    Turpin
    Tino, Fuimaono, Watson
    Fifita, Riki
    Cleary, Schuster
    Bird, Roberts
    Paps, Teddy, Laurie

    Brailey, McCullough, Egan, Liddle

    Walker, Leniu, Niu, Hopoate

I would like to trade Hopoate but no one is screaming out for a trade in, especially as I'd love to bring in a EDG or MID. $66k in the kitty + Hopo at $374 = $440k to spend.

Anything I am missing? Happy to bank some trades and have another look next week.

Not sure I'd spend close to $300k on upgrading a bench mid to a bench mid.

Apparently Gilbert is supposed to be close to returning from his broken leg and was the frontrunner for an edge spot in the preseason. Hard to pick (not worth the risk) what is happening up north. Situation to watch though.

Just on Leniu - obviously a lot of us got him in hoping he’d get decent mins at a 1ppm. Should’ve made a lot of money

His minutes are a concern now not getting more than 30 minutes for the last 3 weeks and stalling his price rises. I was thinking last week against Manly would be as good a time as any for him to get a few more minutes. Maybe JFH/Yeo get a breather in a thrashing and let the benchies get more of a run but that didn’t eventuate

He does play Round 13 but it’s not worth holding him just for another 25-30 points that round. He won’t even make the starting side that week anyway. Team likely for that round would be

    Leota
    Koroisau
    JFH
    Martin
    Kikau
    Eisenhuth

I think it’s worth getting him out now, either to a keeper if you have the cash or to another cow money maker. Walker would be obvious if you didn’t get him last week. I’m looking to go Leniu to SOS who should make bulk cash until CHT is back (if he doesn’t get dropped in TLT)

A team wide value increase of 617k this week is nice to see. Everyone pulling in the right direction more or less.

Except Brimson haha. Anywho id like to get Walker in this week but will be forced to drop a warm body for him, hopefully TLT can lend a helping hand

So far my trade ins this year have been Davey, Peachey, Schuster, I papali (51+76), S Walker and Papenhuyzen (124).

Hoy to SOS for me this week. Probably just bank the trade for once.

Not sure whether its urgent to do anything with Averillo or Simonsson yet.

Have traded Croker, RTS, Davey, Turpin, Lam and Welch. So lots of sideways trades. Would love to somehow still have RTS (88 week 3), Turpin (66 and 62 since traded) and Welch (52).

Sort of sums up that you can't have every good scorer and you can't have every cash cow.

Thoughts on Hoy to SOS and Fog to Moses?

Means I have 5 halves in my team but I do still have cover for each position.

Hes getting his 60 point scores with ease. He was absolutely dominated (as much as you can dominate a bloke like Fifi) by the Raiders, and still pumped out a 65. Against weaker defenses he's going to tear them to shreds.

Futhermore, he's the Titans first choice when attacking. I'm not overly familiar with him at the Broncos, but I can't imagine he was getting as much ball there as he is at the Tits. He's also averaging 4 more tackles, and 50 more run meters which is adding to his base.

I was also of the impression that his 92 was a flash in the pan, however the fact he got 65 against Canberra last week is testament to his floor, and we all know his ceiling. I'm backing him for a 75+ average this season.

    (non-owner)

Edge spot was a bit of a myth, it was revealed later that he'd been training middle. That said, our edges (and backs, and forwards) suck so I'd like to see it, and it's certainly a possibility.

    Was thinking about

    Leniu to Sos
    Or
Leniu to Momirovski (Roberts and Niu are centres atm)
    Or
    Liddle to Peachey

    Thoughts?
