Hey chaps. Crichton out 1 week or 2?

He’s my easiest route to correcting Teddy issue (suggest non Cleary owners in the same boat), but leaves me a Crichton size hole to overcome in a week or 2

He had a terrible fantasy game, but all 5 missed tackles were either being palmed off by a crabbing Latrell, or tackling someone during tryscoring (which I'm pretty sure counts as a MT). So nothing amazing, but would have scored 18 without the MTs.

I actually thought he looked really big and strong in defence, and despite a few positioning errors (won't play centre with Jennings outside all season), I thought he had a decent game. Trading him out is nowhere near on my radar for now (though I'm keeping an eye on him IRL).

1 week mate, Roosters took the guilty plea.

I felt Host ran a lot of good lines into gaps on attack but was skip passed. Is that a CWalker trait or are they just still working out the combinations you think?

Souffs seemed to go out the back alot the other night, I reckon it will continue. Must agree it was annoying watching Walker never pass to him, prefers to go to the big boppa out the back

Will Siro, Egan (& Friend of course) be allowed to play after failing HIA with that rule that WT2K posted from Wacko about seeking exemption from neurologist to play within 11 days

Pretty confusing rule, and also they need to go through 6 stage protocol this week

Yeah potentially. Plus he failed a HIA didn't he ? Might not suit up this week

On one hand keeping an extra trade, knowing I'll have a reasonable EMG MID that might slow burn some cash plays into my thinking at the start of the season.

On the other hand, trading him to Leniu gets me cash generation for the next 2-3 weeks while Lodge is out, and potentially 100-150k in cash (provided Leniu continues with 30-40 mins a game).

I'm not really all that familiar with Leniu as I didn't follow the Panthers that closely last year. I've heard a lot of good things on here about him. Can I get people's thoughts on whether we think Leniu:
    a) passes the eye test for ability and longevity
    b) has the job security and
    c) will continue getting good minutes (30-40) for the next half-season

    Cheers fellas

Trade freely for the first few rounds, and yes Leniu passes the eye test, has job security, and will get 30-40 mins each week bar injury. Some have slated him to get the starting prop role b4 season end

Yeah that new HIA rule will mess with fantasy teams a bit.
It only solidifies the need for a good 18th man.

Exactly what's at the forefront of my mind. Crichton to Cleary this week. Not the most clever plan but could pay off. Think it is 1 with an early plea taken. Forego getting Crichton back in the short term if other squad members work out in that possie

Ah Mau has always done alright off the bench, his PPM actually increases
So his career average off the bench is 40pts 40 minutes
When he starts off at prop it is 41 pts 45 minutes

So he is a fairly consistent 40pt player and the fact he starts off with a big score is bonus for picking up now
If he does that for 3 weeks he makes 100k with potential to make another 100k on that

He’s currently my CTR/WFB cover along with Niu who I’ll probably play over Roberts this week because the Tigers will get hammered by the Roosters.

So losing him this early in the piece isn’t overly detrimental and if Leniu is the real deal then it would be great to jump on now before his price skyrockets.

Could be wrong and usually am

You're selling me on him with that. Plus he's the most expensive player I can afford for Lodge which I'll take as a sign

Cleary just scored 96 and his breakeven is 59... that's ridiculous haha. I was about to say at least his price won't climb too far over 1 mil... however it probably will, kid's a freak!

I'm resigned to not get Cleary until after Origin tbh. I'd have to destroy my team to get him anytime soon (plus trade out another keeper).

Haha fair enough, just thinking about him myself
Simply put I don't see him playing less than 40 mins and 40-45 pts is fine for what you are paying
Injury free, good off season and fairly respected within the team now giving the warriors some starch in the middle.
I don't see him playing huge minutes either, but doesn't need to given his price of 398k

As much as you hate to say it, us non-owners just gotta hope he has a bad game which is highly unlikely to happen.
