My thoughts are I need the Cunt to play more minutes 😂😂 I’ll take 53-58 and 41-46. You got one more 5 stretch

I think the difference is in what *creates* the turnover. A good tackle, 1on1 strip, or rushing out of the line to make an intercept is actively creating a turnover. Picking up a loose ball from an error that you had nothing to do with isn't creating the turnover. Hopefully that's how they'll judge it, even though there will no doubt be errors galore.

Btw, I did the live stats job briefly, it's frenetic. Very different recording every stat for 26 players at a time than just noticing the TBs that your fantasy players make. No excuse not to get it right on the review though.

They don't use it in fantasy anymore, but I assume they still record the stat "ineffective offload" which was just code for when you offloaded to the opposition not a teammate. Not sure if opposition were credited with an intercept or not in these cases. But that might explain some of the discrepancies around whether you get a TO or not.

Hahahah this is disgusting. You're telling me that Teddy who scored a hattrick and broke like 8 tackles gets the same points as a centre on a losing team who missed like 8 tackles and had no attacking stats. Absolute bullshit mate. Luke Lewis the judge lol, former teammates with Bird and won a premiership together. They need to piss of Dally M for real

Not commenting on the validity of the votes otherwise, but I really hope Dally M judges don't use tackle breaks as a key factor in allocating votes. they are great in fantasy because they get overvalued at 3 points each - but sideways slapsy running does not equate to contribution worthy of Dally M votes.

Teddy deserves more points for other reasons.

That makes too much sense to be the way it's judged haha. Nah but hopefully you're right, that's exactly what I envisioned for that stat

Jack Bird for 1 Dally M point?!?  Jack fucking Bird?!  Are you fucking serious Lewis?  Is he an actual judge?  He should surely be stripped of that right after this.  And 2 Sharks players first and second.  Seems fucking legit......

Mate it's an absolute rort. Judges full of their own bias and agenda, really not a true indicator as who the best player is as we saw last year. Like Luke Lewis judging a sharks game and Lockyer judging the broncos game.... cmon now

Joke of a system. Think was 2019 where the judge wasn't even at the game they were voting on. The RLPA players champion would mean more imo. Voted by the players.

Ah yes, I actually forgot they just do the one game, not all games over the weekend. Fair play on the first two then but Jack Bird as third best for the game is mind boggling. But yes, no fucking way Lewis should be voting on a Sharks game, holy hell!

This is exactly what the point of that stat is. Mattnz is reaching to say the least.

It wasnt the situation, a Tigers player didnt force the ball lose in either case.
In situations like offloads, the ball touching the ground before it gets to the player doesn't count against it and we saw last season examples of try assists being awarded when they actually passed the ball to the ground, the player picks it up and runs 80 meters. The consistent way across all scoring would be that the ball hitting the ground doesn't matter.
Plus you'd have to think that even if it does pop up and out, if it travels forward that'd be a knock on and can't also be an intercept.

Scores have downdated for some reason and I can't see who's lost points. The players on my screen all add up to my score of 919 but the total score is showing 867.
