I had him in 2019. He missed a lot - and I mean a lot - of tackles. Admittedly some of that was when he was moved to centre and I think on one occasion wing, but don't think I can go back there. As others have said, if he was still available at CTR, that would be a different story. FWIW I think Matt's right and he does get the minutes. I'm just not convinced he gets the fantasy scores.

Is Croker a trap? I'm leaning strongly yes.

Will Capewell play on the right edge?  Both he and Kikau are predominantly left edge second rowers I think?

last year Capewell's starts came when replacing Kikau.
This year it looks like he has beaten Martin to the starting spot

Egan is a spud but is he less risk than Dick Turpin?

Was looking maybe ditch Turpin for him for the cash but probably still more upside with Turpin.

Looking at the bench mate, not sure on Leniu. Huth can play minutes while Yeo and JFH play big minutes too. Not sure if he can get the minutes required.

With a big day of work ahead. I’ll have stuff all time to make further changes. Locked and ready...for now

    J.brailey
    Chrichton, Watson, Tino
    Fifita, Riki
    Cleary, lam
    Bird, Robert’s
    Teddy, latrell, Laurie

    Lodge, host, Turpin, siro

    Alvaro, avarillo, lidddle, uki

Would loved to have got some more variety compared to most around here. Hard to decide where to take the punt.

    Fomo on Paulo, tapine, Pappy

    Croker is cheap
    Croker has dubious job security
    Croker is an average footballer
Croker burned me big time last year

Y'all are missing Mitchell Aubusson so much that you're buying Kurt Capewell? Let it go.

I've got a soft spot for Capewell after owning him the week he got the banner. But he wasn't in any consideration for my team until I ended up needing a player in the 400-500k range. Even then I think there are much better options

If Teddy didn't exist my team selection would be so much easier lol. Taking him out and putting literally any other of the top WFB gives me so much more cash, but just can't bare to start the year without him grrr

I replaced Teddy with RTS. Brooks with Lam. Bird with Averillo. I've Crichton, Tohu Harris, Fifita and 143k in the bank

Capewell DID score a 55 in that one tryless game during the regular season last year.

Capewell isn't Mr Fix It at the Panthers, that role sits with May, if there is an injury in the backline.

I can guarantee you that if Stephen Crichton goes down five minutes into Saturday's game then Martin will come on and Capewell will move to centre.

Of course that's a worry with other second rows, it could happen with Difita and Riki too, but Capewell has more centre predigree than most.

He's not a looker like Aubs, I'll give you that.

I think if May were on the bench, he'd slot in there first.

Leniu passes the eye test for mine, and I have a bit more faith in his minutes/ability/opportunity to step up than Utoikamanu. Tigers also seem to be loaded in the middle - and Madge seems to like Musgrove too (who's due back in round 3 I think?). i guess it comes down to what else you can do with that extra $60k?

Well the big day is here and I still can't settle on my side:

    Cook
    Watson Tino Lodge
    DFifita Sitili
    Munster Brooks
    Roberts Averillo
    Pappy Mitchell Laurie

    Crichton
    Turpin
    Liddle
    Riki

    Milf
    Fusitua
    Saab
    Simpkin

Big questions are around Lodge, Sitili, Riki, Milf --> Tempted to bring in Kikau/capewell, Hetherington/Ogden or Moylan (obviously not all of them but those are the guys I've been shuffling in and out of the team). Any advice from you guys would be awesome! 12hrs and counting...

I was contemplating downgrading SST to Welch/Tino and upgrade Host but vs Manly could be cricket score. That said I feel like Roosters have been cruising in games in the past and he's got early shower
