I think Poasa might cement that solid first grade 45 min prop role this year. Probably still a slow burn anyway.

I'm thinking of sitting him in position 18. Probably not the best scorer, but should be an acceptable emergency.

Poasa and Lawrie won’t play more than 40-45mins so I see no reason why Alvaro doesn’t get 35mins at worst. I think he’s first rotation off the bench.

Lawrie has played big mins before, can probably do it more often.

Tbh you could easily argue the case that vaughan plays 60 - 65 min this year ala klemmer/woods (at his 'peak').

I saw on sporting news early mail is they have Leniu starting in front of Leota. Would be a easy pickup if that’s the case. PPM beast

Lawrie will play more minutes than that mate.

Kerr is only a 40 minute middle even when starting prop

I reckon Lawrie could be a guy to push to 55 minutes or so. As you said, he's done it before and I think he's one player that will improve again this year.

Whys that? No reason he doesnt continue his growth as an nrl player who, at 25 yr old, just played his first full season of nrl, and finished the year in origin camp.

Regardless, that is still 40 mins that someone below him cant play

The point was rather that the dragons pack is a lottery and griffin doesnt give much useful information away. TLT wont clear things up

    OK, next tricky one.

Who is the best back up CTR in 18-21

    Averillo TU
    Roberts TD

Better than a vote. Why? They both have an element of risk to them I feel.

Mary always wanted him playing low minutes, didnt think he had the motor for more. That was normally 40 minutes as starting prop in 3 stints, wasted lots of interchanges getting him on and off the field for short stints of high impact.

Doesn’t Curran if named on the edge TLT just lose his spot to Sironen when Egan gets back?

TLT won't tell us the answers to all the important questions, but it will certainly generate content on this site

Definitely agreed with the dragons assessment. Anyone who plays Kerr on a edge ahead of Ford obviously needs their sanity questioned.

Regardless of minutes, if I had to pick a player out of that bunch it would be Alvaro. He was a 700k player a few seasons ago and if given the right opportunities I can see him claim that sort of price.

Even if he does start from the bench you'd assume he gets a slightly bigger role this year. Id prob pick him over the other bench props round the same price.
The other one is Atoni who ran for 192m in their preseason game. Not sure where he fits in tho when Thompson comes back

If going back a few years, Merrin was a 65 minute gun.
