Trbojevic out has given me a pathway to spending all my coin (0k remaining)

    McCullogh
    Ah Mau Twal Watson
    Matterson Fifita
    Milford Lam
    Peachey Bird
    Doueihi Tedesco Mitchell

    Murdoch-Masillia, Davey, Riki, Liddle

    Croker, Averillo, Niu, Simpkins

Unlike most, I have decided to go weak in the halves due to the cows who have the potential to make coin. I think Latrell is in for a busier year and Niu will replace Doueihi for R1.

The one pathway to upgrading HLF that I can see is if Capewell starts for the Panthers

Struggling to see where you have spent your cap TBH. Gone weak at hooker, middle, half, bench, NPR but the backs aren't that impressive to compensate.

I think this team is the definition of a dirty-middies AA meeting.
Lot's of potential for cash generation, but you'd have to wonder who is going to screw up first.

    On another note:
By replacing Turbo in my WFB 3rd position with Hoy, I agree it's taking a risk that Ponga will return early, I can shift Grant to Cook and end up with all of Cook / Angus / DFifi/ Cleary / Teddy in my team.
And still retain $187k ITB ??
    How is this possible. affraid

Personally I've never liked starting the year with 0k or close to it in the bank. There's always some dud pick you make or gets injured and it's easier to jump on somebody you missed if you have a bit of spare cash on hand.

Some people take a different approach and believe money unspent is money wasted but personally I like to always have some leftover to start.

Des - "We do have people like Reuben [Garrick] and Morgan Harper who have been running in that position constantly. At some point we were going to need cover for Tommy with Origin coming around anyway.

Currently got Cleary, Angus, JFH, DFifita, Munster, Tedesco & Brimson. Reasonably happy with the rest of the side too - biggest concern is leaving out some popular cash cows.

just read DT article about the harsh Norman punishment (personally don't think he should be punished for this incident)

and at the end just sprinkled in there

"The Dragons are also yet to decide on who will wear the No.13 jersey given the season-ending injury to Cameron McInnes.

Griffin nominated Tariq Sims, Jackson Ford and Tyrell Fuimaono as options."

Bird to Kelly or upgrade Ah Mau to koloamatangi/ford etc

Probably do Laurie to Simpkins, get the feeling they are going to share the hooking role 40 mins each. Won't play Liddle in 17.

Is your thoughts on Bird assuming he's starting at centre? I think he's just as good as Kelly if he's there while being 90k cheaper and more highly owned (so if he fails everyone fails with me)

Ah Mau is somewhat of a placeholder, just want to see who gets named on TLT. if he gets a starting spot, I will definitely take him and save the money, otherwise I'll upgrade to Koala/Lodge/someone else.

Didn't realise that it was going to be that even for Tigers hooker, I would've thought Liddle will get 55-60 mins and Simpkin 20-25

I feel he will take a bit of time to get the confidence back and will only average around 30 (for a good part of the season). See Marsters as better value if he starts and you only want to spend that much.
Bird said it himself that he was nervous and he is no-way near the same player as he was before injury. Will take some time.
