Just looking at Gilbert for the Cows in the 4 games he started in second row last year he averaged 59mins for 45.5 point average and looks to have a high work rate. He has DPP Mid/Edge which makes him more appealing as well.

He is pretty cheap at 434k.

I was gonna ask how will the Cows pack line up this year but Mulvy hasn’t been on for a while. He will have lots to catch up on when he’s back!

He was a lock for my fantasy MID and now I'm thinking he is no guarantee for 80 under this new coach even if he stays. As a Broncs fan that's great if we can let Macca go and free up some much needed cap space. Just on that all I hear is the Broncos have no wiggle room in their cap. Seriously, who are they paying the money too geez!

Imagine if you spent a third of your cap on the big four of Packer, Reynolds, Mbye and an injured Matulino.

Nah, no one would ever do that Shocked

id say it probably is tight but I bet we have a bit of cash to spend if we really wanted to. It's all just guesswork from the journos based on bits of info they get fed.

If you let the fans know the cap is tight then there is probably less whinging, rather than saying you've got tonnes of money to spend, but then don't make any big moves. It probably helps prevent managers seeing big $$$ available gathering at your front door. Not that the Broncos have done particularly well with recruitment of late anyway.

I think they are gearing up for some big signings in 2022 but obviously you can't go around spruiking that at the moment.

McInnes has been an 80 minute hooker for 4 years. He will remain an 80 minute hooker this year.

The Dragons aren't going to change their game plan because one of their players liked the old coach.

So you're telling me that... *checks roster* ... *scrolls right to bottom*... Billy Brittain won't be stealing minutes from McInnes ?? What a Face Beer

I’d be surprised if McCullough doesn’t start. Will come down to trials though. Turpin is better off bench the Macca

I don’t think anyone’s said he is going. Dragons showed some interest a while ago but it’s going nowhere. Broncos want him this year anyway.

Yeah not too keen on them either, similar to Raiders in 2020 where squad stays basically the same but prices all get massive increases

I expect Panthers to not be as dominant so Cleary could lose attacking stats and there’s good value at HLF. Some interest in Edwards as he might take more runs with no Mansour but there’s probably better gun WFBs with RTS/Brimson below Teddy/Ponga

Cleary is probably just too expensive to start with. I'd rather spend a little less for (hopefully) comparable scoring, at least, that is the gamble.

    Nope, can't have them all.

But you are crazy for thinking McInnes will score more playing lock instead of hooker Fishing

lol I guess NSW Police a bit shy on spending a few hundred grand prosecuting some dodgy charges this time
