Nice little 45 from Offa. Now I need to choose out of Starling and Rudolph. Everytime ive had to choose out of these two ive chosen wrong. I think Rudolph was saved by his try last week. Seems to play less mins when Fifita in the team

Somehow still in the top 500 live rankings (including RFM as a loop).
Expect to climb further upwards with Captain McInnes still to come.
Thought about trading Friend to Crichton but just seems like a waste of a trade when I can just play Randall. Will keep my final trade for next round.
Only three playing today (Peach, Fotuaika and Grant)
Six tomorrow (Tevaga, RTS, Randall, Ponga, Hunt and M(c)Innes)

Really pissed of I brought Edwards in for Pap and they brought him off with 20mins to go. Still 37 is 37.
9/448 for me that includes Siro as 16th man with 41 and Koala as 40 I have taken in my loop. 35 from Hammer was nice as well.
I have Taupau, MoFo, Peachey, Lucy to come today.
C McInnes, Hunt, Ponga and Pearce to come tomorrow.

555/9c after Siro's loop is added. Disappointed in Dedwards but at least I have 17 this week, hopefully he's not injured and just getting a rest.

285/5 with some absolute superstars like Clune, Croker and McIntyre to come.
My atrocious depth has really been exposed.

Why did Edwards only play 62 mins? Rest or injury? Very on-brand for this season if my last trade in gets injured.
Could have punted on Turbo, but I'd make the same decision again given the form lines, injury history, and fixtures.

Got DCE, Taupau, Jurbo, MoFo Peachey, Fog, and CS9 today. Safe to say Manly vs Titans is a big one for my team.

Watching the Parra-Bris highlights, I don’t like to criticize refs but how did we halve the number of refs required and still have Perenara on the field?

Maybe he was the cheapest to keep?

Have Morgan and Turbo locked in for my trades. Felt confident last night, now I’ve got the jitters haha

Paying him in NZ dollars?
Even so, the weirdest call last night was just before HT in Panthers-Cowboys
Luai almost cuts through, ref blows a penalty to Cowboys at an earlier point of the play for obstruction (I think?)
Then he says he was playing advantage, and that if he got tackled straight away he’s not blowing a penalty
I think a player queries it but the on-field mike cuts off before we get a response
Which is a shame because I’d love to know what advantage the defensive team get from not receiving a penalty.

601/9c including a bit of bench-wankery in Moses and Cardigan currently outside the 17.
Just thinking about Talau, and admittedly I am playing 16 if he doesn't play, but...
I don't entirely buy into the Lawrence playing out of some level of sentimentality (unless it's a PR push after the non-resigning Marshall PR nightmare - which would still seem odd).
I don't really get the benefit of playing the Claw over Talau. Lawrence has played 2RF almost exclusively over the preceding 4 years, showed a couple of poor defensive reads last week and doesn't offer much in attack (which is understandable). Talau also showed some poor reads, but offers attacking potential and apparently is a no go for the JAC trade due to being seen as an important asset going forwards. The best way to realise that potential sooner is surely to give him game time and experience, especially given that it's not like the season is on the line anyway.
At the moment it's a 3 middle, 1 edge forward bench. It seems really unlikely that's the makeup for the final 17 - given any outside back injury would be difficult to cover.
So won't surprise me if Talau swaps in to CTR and Claw to the bench (probably wishful thinking on my part), OR probably more likely, Liddle just comes on to the bench for Musgrove or something.

He wasn’t any better in the bunker for the Thursday Night game either, some very strange wrong decisions then too.@robelgordo wrote:Watching the Parra-Bris highlights, I don’t like to criticize refs but how did we halve the number of refs required and still have Perenara on the field?
In fact the standard of reffing in general has deteriorated again.

There's an unspoken rule that if an attacking player surrenders they won't blow the penalty for obstruction so he saw the infringement he allowed play to continue like they do and because he took the advantage he blew the penalty.

True, although I don’t love that interpretation (it’s still offside a play goes nowhere, it’s still a knock-on if he dives on it and surrenders...)
He just waited until Luai stepped about 4 guys and made another 5-10m before deciding that was enough. It’s also arse backwards to talk about advantage in that way

Need a 50 average from Mofo, JTurbo, Leilua, Butcher, Munster, Harper, TTurbo.
Currently there average combined sits at 49.5.

Currently sitting at 8/357 once Hammer's score is added, which is pretty garbage. I'll be playing with 16 this week, and only have two guys playing today (Munster and Fotu), so my live rank is gonna take a beating.
The moment of truth for me is tomorrow, since I have 6 guys playing then (Tevaga, Captain Wighton, Hunt, Lomax, Ponga and Randall), so I'm hoping for a big game from my POD captain.
The main killer for me this week was Fifita going down, he was on track for a big score before he got broken in half.

Any reason why people are leaning towards Turbo and not RTS? Is it just hoping he hits that ceiling once in the next 2 weeks?

Yeah pretty much. That’s my only reasoning. And I like watching him
