Rumour that Steven Marsters is debuting for Souths tonight, not sure who is out.

If Latrell was to be out I’d be playing with 16.

Tedesco wasnt rested last season when he won it. Could he have been rested? Easily! Was he? No, because he had a chance to win the Dally M.

If Cleary wasnt in Dally M contention, for sure he gets a rest at some point. Because he is in contention, I think the odds that they rest him are low.

I thought Tedesco was rested for a game last season... it was during the Origin period, Roosters had a Sunday game, and it causes fantasy chaos. I think it was the round Turbo got a banner

EDIT: Milchy beat me to this

Anyway super dumb argument if Cleary isn’t rested it will be because Cleary Sr doesn’t want to rest players. Not some weird scenario where he rests everyone but a potential Dally M winner

Tedesco was definitely rested last year. I pulled the trigger on him to turbo that week and turbo scored a tonne.

At least you've adjusted your stance from not missing a game to the odds are low Razz

I don't think fans or players give that much of a shit about Dally M. MotM for the winning GF team would be a more meaningful individual award, and who really cares about that when you've won the GF? Winning Dally M and MotM in the losing grand final team would be pretty fucking hollow Laughing

There's definitely coaches who don't like resting players leading into the finals. Bellamy did it once years ago and they had a shocker first week of the finals - I'm pretty sure he hasn't rested players in the late rounds since.

Not sure what Cleary Sr's view is though

Not to be THAT guy, but I really do like the TU/TD posts, before then the feed was clogged up by someone asking a question and then 5-6 replies scattered throughout other conversations which made for much more disjointed reading.

And this is coming from a guy who has probably only made one or two TU/TDs before- so I am the real victim here! Yeah that’s right boys, that luscious Reputation:Posts ratio you see is allllll natural

I bought cans of Boneface The Wizard the other day. Was on tap at my local about month ago. So yum. Would get but only at further away supermarket and feeling too lazy to travel that far

If you haven't tried, I would highly recommend Supercharger from Panhead breweries.

If you can get your hands on the Bad Shepherd Peanut Butter Porter, its one of the beers of the winter for me. So easy to drink. Only have three left in the fridge now though Sad

Have you had the Gatherer yet? I've had a couple. Nice in summer but couldn't imagine drinking it in the cold.

4 pages of this niceee. Everyone relax for a minute, last night in Ivan's press conference he was asked about resting players due to basically securing the minor prem, however he responded by saying there's no need to right now as they are lowering their training intensities so that they are fresh and ready for gameday. Also he said he wants to keep the momentum building into finals. We all g lads...

    Fogarty, Lucy and SST.

Maybe Tauk can finally get a try instead of being held up
