Final score for me is 907 thanks to Talau getting zero ball. I was so hopeful after Mann got that try, it was looking like my week would be saved, but nope I just fall further and further. I didn't even have any players get injured this week, yet all the teams with Aubo, Siro and the other injuries all beat me, and to cap it off I'm out of the eliminator as my opponent is on 974.

I only have 3 trades left to fix this garbage side I've got, and if all three of Avo, Munster and Haas miss next week, then I have to burn yet another trade to have 17 warm bodies.

Live rank 1772 down from 1216, probably losing even more once it updates. I got to rank 544 back in round 9, and it's just all fallen apart since then. I miss the days of last year where a bad round would mean I went from 80 overall to 150, instead of this shit.

The challenge of trying to finish as high as possible even with all the setbacks is half the fun for me. Trying to figure out the next step to improve more than others do. It's tough but rewarding when you pick the right player and they go well. I will most likely be trading in two players to field 16-17 this week and that will leave me with two... but there's a number of weeks to go and anything could happen.

Gotta play whats in front of you!

It would suck to high hell. Best chance I have of rank gain is having near settled 17 and 4 trades spare. If we didn't get the 4 trades week I'd still have Lucy

991 for me is another slight jump

Sironen an immediate concern, while Haas suspension or SJ being out will put some real pressure on

Hoping for Munster and Asi to return next week plus Fermor to get the starting spot

Initially planned to grab Teddy for RTS/Papy next week via 2 trades how ever seems like a luxury trade with the carnage happening across the board

I'm personally shocked that making side ways trades, short term trades and marginal upgrades in a season we knew had no byes + limited trades would come back to cost teams.

We have only just passed the 2/3 mark of the season so I expect plenty of carnage still to come

The problem for me is that every trade I make just fucks my team even more. From just round 9 onwards, I've had the following trades blow up in my face

Round 10 - 9 trades left after these

Young + Croft -> A Crichton + Niu. Would have been fine if Angus hadn't got himself injured literally THAT WEEK, and if Hudson hadn't chosen the next couple weeks to start scoring well. Niu being a red dot also sucks, but he is basically just what Wiliame was before.

Round 12 - 6 trades left after this

Field -> Randall. I was 50/50 on this one, and had I held off on it, I would have got Luai's 50 that week instead of Randall's 19, and then I could have used that trade buying someone who didn't get dropped.

Round 13 - 4 trades left after this

Luai -> Munster. We all know how everyone was umming and ahhing between Munster and Moses, and of course I got the one that got injured. Typical of my luck.

The only trades that have been remotely beneficial to my team have been Angus to Cleary in round 11, and Grant to Fifita last week. I never got on Bunt, and never got on DCE, and that is killing my team

Basically, the problem is that no matter what I try, it just gets worse, and it's stopped being fun.

Last year it was fun, as I had some good PODs and even when I had a down week, I could have confidence that I would bounce back. I don't have that this year.

Well this is probably what my team is going to look like pre-trades next round.

    McInnes
    MoFo, Carrigan
    Yeo, Lolo, Leilua
    DCE, Cleary
    McIntyre, Aitken
    Paps, Ponga, Teddy

    Murray, Hunt, Clune, Fermor

    Haas, Aubo, Sironen, Niu

I'm clinging to life with 3 trades and 6k left.

1014 this week. Haas being out next week will be interesting, hope Munster makes one of his fast recoveries to help out

I thought I'd eventually be looking to trade out Lucy for a gun like Cook or McInnes but I don't think I can move on a player with a ceiling as high as his. If I were to bring in a McInnes, barring possible injuries and suspensions, it'd have to be for a player like Yeo. But given he's such a consistent scorer and with only 5 trades left I'm thinking it's probably not worth doing so.

1054, one of the lucky ones it seems.

If Haas is out 2 weeks im trading to best option possible for the team (already have Carrigan and LThompson coverage) plus his excess funds on top of the 224k kitty to turn Sironen into anyone.

    Sorted. Maybe.

    How good was Nofo !!

Probs only gonna make 1 trade this week which is Young -> Barnett. Barnett is almost a must have if he is playing 80 every week for that price tag. Loves to get through work, coach seems to love him and today he played like 70 mins at lock then moved into the back row.

Is Asi expected back next week? Now I'm regretting not hanging onto Fermor but it's not as if I could've predicted his return.

He has capability for big mins at lock but keeps benefitting from team injuries to increase mins which makes it so hard to judge his potential

    R11 - McCullough, Watson injured 23 mins & 29 mins
    R12 - Randall & Fitzgibbon failed HIAs 36 mins
R13 - Shibasaki injured & taken off 66 mins, score suffered with blowout
    R14 - D Saifiti injured & only played 1 stint

He has been week to week since his injury. I'm expecting he comes in for Hampton to partner Morgan

I'm looking at Aubo to Barnett next week and hold 3 trades. Should be able to just afford

Only have Crichton and Farnworth at CTR. Ok with that. If necessary probably can sideways trade if one goes down or trade another where have plenty of cover. If Haas out need to get by with Carrigan and SST. Same as above if they go down

If Haas cops 2-3 weeks I'll be seriously considering Flegler. No Lodge, TPJ for the rest of the season and no Haas for half of the season will surely put up some good scores

Some people here need to harden up. If it was easy it wouldn’t be enjoyable

Besides that, 980 this week. 800~ rank. I’ll take it considering 4 players scored below 30
