Also, death riding Bateman is no fun. Guy is a machine.

Nothing to say about that, this lot has worn me down into apathy, gather them up, grant no questions asked releases for those that want them, I don't care if Seibold is cooked or not, whatever problems are happening there isn't an excuse for nobody wearing that jersey having the respect for anyone or anything, even themselves, to have a dig, they have exactly zero self-awareness of how lucky they are, especially right now.

anyway, sitting on 883 with DCE, Ponga + Talau to come, approaching each game cringing because I know me, and any moment now this run of not sucking will hit a brick wall.

I think the captain talk is getting run into the ground. In the end, besides doing something like captaining Ted for a 20, it's not that big a deal. Between Cleary and Haas, this week is only 20 points. That's one big play from one of your other players.

You can talk until you are blue in the face about the decisions you make but you need to stand by your decisions, especially if you are looking at taking the C off a big minute forward and putting it on a back. Even a top half back, you are taking a big risk putting the armband on them. If you are prepared to take that risk, you have to be prepared for it to not come off sometimes.

Talau needs junk points to get much over 20, Mann will need another 80 minute game to crack 40 at hooker, and Ponga got contained well against Manly, and I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again.

Mann is the one I'm really worried about, as he's much less owned at the top compared to the other two, and he is the lynchpin of my team's rankings (alongside other relative PODs Wighton and Fifita)

Oh, I thought it was a typo and you meant 950.

Tbh I'm not too annoyed about this week's captain pick, Haas got less than I was expecting at halftime and Cleary did okay enough.

also, for those counting, that's 14 of 26 guns now who haven't hit their average against this pack of self-entitled pricks, playing match-ups is over-rated.

It just showed Haas leaning his head on Carrigan's shoulder after the game finished, the bloke looked stuffed. Fuck fantasy, hecan't be playing 80 every week. Those two guys have played way more minutes than they should have this season, and they're both so young. They're going to burn them out so quickly if it keeps happening every season.

Broncos should be forced to watch that Raiders celebration with Rapana and his crotch.

Yeah I felt that. Also Carrigans interview makes you realise when he talks just how fucking young and inexperienced he is. Must be taking a toll on these kids. Couldn't have imagined copping that kind of pressure when I was their age, no matter what their occupation or how much they get paid.

Agreed. I played Captain Roulette for half a season (I think 2017 maybe) and was a deadset nervous wreck every Thursday afternoon. I build my team around a player I intend to Captain all year. I mean I suck this year, but still don't have to stress about who to Captain.

Staggs arm shot on Rapana was as bad as Hethrington on Taupau. Change my mind

Aubs+194 is probably 640-650k. If you don’t need at CTR, then Reynolds will be in range. Or Munster if fit.

Aubs+95k for me, which is a trickier proposition. Thinking Brimson as a 17th man and WFB cover.
