Don't know how u can hold, guaranteed big points missing every week he is out. U have 2-4 trades left is that why ?

    I'm holding. Here's why...

Assuming 2 weeks out, I might get 40pts per week from my 18th man (Siro), then Smith returns and averages 67ish for 6 rounds... that's about 480pts

So 480/8 is 60 points per week minimum to replace him.

But then also have to factor in the replacement players price, and the value of a trade

Which is all too hard for me to comprehend

So I got to "fuck it I'll just keep him".

Plan B: panic and/or get drunk and trade him 5 mins before Storm kickoff.

I'd back Bateman to outscore 60 a week from here at the price of 1 trade and 18k

I am fucked if Talau gets dropped. No centre cover and only 5 trades. I am kicking myself because having cover for each position is always a priority for me but Niu fucked me.

Best stories to come from my time back then and any sort of name drop ability was that we were coached by one of the Pethybridge brothers who any old magpie family would know, think it was Rod, maybe. And the infamous Sydney drug lord Michal Ibrahim was a team mate, fair dinkum !

When I briefly considered, Bateman or McInnes were the targets. McInnes more because he was on the radar anyway.

I think Twal and Tevaga could bash out 60s as well for cheaper, but some risk as you need to take a punt on their minutes.

I'd probably feel more inclined to pull the trigger it if I hadn't just wasted two trades. First, removing Koro (unavoidable given info out there, but annoying) and secondly, Randall as a cashout

Gets the MS seal of approval AND I can't afford to bring him in. Pretty much a lock to average 70 in the run home

Problem is I already have Siro in my 17 even before taking CS9 being out into consideration. I don’t think I can afford to hold him when I can just bring in Bateman/Lolo

If Smith is fit, Siro is not in my 17, so would only be cover for 2 weeks. But it's all a house of cards, will probably end up with a bunch of other fires to deal with in 28 mins or so, and I'll wish CS( was my biggest problem.

Why miss Smith for 2 weeks, when you can run out of trades early and miss Haas* for 5

    * insert expensive player you own here, that cops a season ender the week after you spend your last trade

It's hilarious how bad I am at this. 2 days I've been convinced holding Smith is The Responsible Thing To Do. One sentence by MS and I'm eyeing off Bateman.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Smith miss this week only against the Dogs to rest up and then come out for the Roosters next week.

If this happened in R8 I would be all over it but in R13 with 8 trades left 3 players way from my final 17 trades are crucial.
