What MVP system do you think is done better around the world? All of them seem to end up being a popularity/opinion contest unless pure statistics are used.

I do like the coach MVP system they have in the AFL were both coaches vote 5-1 for their game each week.

Harry Grant leading overall, despite missing the first 2 rounds. Pretty amazing for a rookie who has played just 10 games.

I have Hunt already, but I'm not worried about him. It's a pretty safe play given his price and the upside with him. If he ends up back in the halves it's no major problem either given he traditionally scores about 55 there anyway. Back on the bench is the only downside risk, I don't see that happening now that Mary has had a couple of wins.

“All Cam wants to do is win so Cam is comfortable playing a role for the team at No.13. It is the same with Benny,” McGregor said. “He wants to play No.7 but he is playing No.9 for the team.

“That’s what the team needs right now. We are missing some experienced players in the middle third of the field that aren’t with us at the moment.

Whoever I'm bringing in has to stay for the year. So looks like the coin has landed on Ponga rather than Hunt. If Hunt plays 80 at hooker all year and scores 60s and 70s so be it

I could see him moving to the halves if Norman or Clune got injured, where he'll average 50 rather than 55-60 at hooker - not the end of the world. Can't see him shifting to the bench either, only JdB missing and I'd be amazed if NRL lets him play this year. So very minor risk to Hunt IMO. But I'm often wrong

I'll prob end up missing hunt aswell. Not knowing if he will stay an 80min hooker is putting me off and i was 2k short of going Rudolph and Fog to Siro and Hunt, so not to be

    Few things

“He wants to play No.7 but he is playing No.9 for the team." - If there is a few losses, especially if Clune is under performing the club will have Hunt kicking up a stink saying that he could have won it at 7

"That’s what the team needs right now" - To me this says that things could change at any moment, but at this point in time it is working

"We are missing some experienced players in the middle third of the field that aren’t with us at the moment." - If they pick up a bit more experience, either through JDB coming back or another club releasing a player, we could see Hunt moving. Other option could be Frizell into the middle with Ford on the edge. Korbin Sims is another experienced middle option

Who should I play as my 17th man out of Young, Paix (Assuming he starts) or Hethrington? Shame that it's come down to this with Young as I thought he could've put up some good scores but oh well.

Young easy, I think. I’d say he’s more likely to go 40+ than the other two

Depending on the bench Paix probably plays 80 so I would play him.

My back up choices aren't terrible either. Means I end up with Ponga and Tevaga instead of Hunt and Ponga
