NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 61 - Captain Teddy hype-train edition

Not sure why people are upset about teddy, the guy bounces off tackles like a ping pong ball... and everyone here knows that those all count as TB.. if you chose not to buy him knowing that... then that’s on you.

Well he’s run about 140 metres, had a try and line break assist, made 3 tackles and has clearly had around 5-6 tackle busts.

Just turning on now but based on the stats KO’D looking like the early favourite for best cow next week

I guess that is the issue with tedesco. He gets them whenever he gets near someone. I honestly think a total of 6 is a bit dubious, looked more like 4 to me, but im not watching with an eagle eye, so whatever.

But yeah, other players get clear ones that just dont get recorded.

Its pretty clearly favouritism by the stats people. Its probably not intentional

I expect Papa to play out the game. Hope JWH comes on for another 20 minute stint towards the end as a big bang. Roosters could clean up some stuff, but so far having a solid game.

yeh that's what I meant, putting a bloke through a hole in the defense is worth 2 points, but bouncing 1 bloke off just before two other blokes wrap you up and complete the tackle is worth 3. should've been worth 1,maybe 2 at the absolute most, 3 was overkill from the moment it was introduced.

Fox Sports have Teddy on 2 TBs, Champion have him on 4, and STATS have him on 6.

TBs are over valued in Fantasy which makes thd discrepancy more obvious

Yeah i think this pretty much sums up the frustration. Poor Mofo was busting tackles for fun last week and couldnt buy one from the stats guy

Without 3 point TBs, WFB would be as useless as CTR.

They have to give big points somewhere to help backs compete with forwards getting 1 point per tackle
