Was also solid on defence. Could have easily hit 60 this week, one try that he blew with a forward pass and another that Naden should have got in for.White Lightning wrote:S. Crichton actually looked good last night & looked like a nrl standard player. He probably got more ball last than he did in the 2 games prior & you could see Cleary was trying to get him the ball as much as possible.

If Drinkwater got injured, would be an ideal replacement.multiple.scoregasms wrote:
Would be a hell of a gamble IMO. Trades incredibly limited so he would need to post keeper level scores to be worth the trade in. Would feel incredibly sideways from a Papy/Drinkwater tier guy

If Pappy doesn’t go 50+ and RTS does, I will make that trade at lockout so fast you won’t even have time to question whether it is sideways or not

He seems to get big wraps from the commentators too (Fox) - every time he even looked like getting the ball they were talking about him. To'o was far more damaging but they didn't say much about him at all

Yikes.
Was his manager Isaac Moses?

Same excuse people have been using for Papy so far this season "he could've got more points if x and y were different"
Even if there are millimetres in it, bottom line is that he didn't get the points. This is from an owner.
I am hoping the points will come but I think those two plays come down to a lack of experience from both Crichton and Naden. Hopefully they both learn from it.

Kearney's was. Blair's might have been too actually.

Tapine out is just another kick in the nuts this round.
There is only so much cover you can have in a squad.
Ive managed to cover 2Wfbs, 1Ctr and 1 of the 2 2rfs.

Yeah I love watching To'o, puts in so hard in his runs.

Did I see trades being reversed in order to get Cleary next week? Ease up lads, we're only 1 game in.
Gonna be hard enough to get guns this year without paying top dollar for Teddy, Cook, Cleary etc. after they put up monsters.

Anasta last night saying Kikau was in career best form.....wrong Braith he's been pretty ineffective this season & his rookie year form was much higher than this years form.

In rounds like this a big scores from your PODs can give you big gains.
I've got Friend, Macca, and DCE who I'd like to see get a century this round.
The thing is, they'll probably have a low scoring round unless I manage to appease the fantasy gods with a worthy offering.

I still think he’s best off the bench against tired defenders in smaller stints

It was a diabolical call from Anasta.
