    Advantage:

    The winner of the challenge will not only win immunity for this weeks tribal council (should there tribe end up at tribal council) but there vote at the first tribal council post merge will be worth not 1, but 2 votes, which could give that person the opportunity to make a big move straight off the bat of merge.

    The real question to ask is what is the punishment for not playing in the spirit of the game?

    Those that deliberately threw the challenge get no votes when they go to tribal sounds a fair punishment.

    Yes clearly didn't play to their ability deliberately. The perpetrators definitely get punished in any competition for poor sportsmanship.
