What I was more concerned about was what looked like an eye gouge from Egan.
There was bad calls to both sides in this game, I thought the reffing overall was quite poor. There was knocked backs that were called knock ons, forward passes missed, no consistency in the 6 again calls etc harsh sin bins to each side etc....
Honestly it's every season league is dead to me. I was Sharks fan since 91 before Warriors existed then came back to NZ from 12 years overseas in 2009 and switched to the Warriors and season after season we get screwed over and then come Monday maybe some refs get the boot. It's not funny anymore. Literally whole pub of Warriors fans gave up watching after that. Rabbits way better team and deserved to win but ref almost looked like I just sent Walker off I can't send another off

The comp seems rigged to me. How is it possible that there are always good teams and shit teams? There really should be very little between any of the teams in the comp.

Both sides got bad calls, penalties were 4 all in the end.
Hopefully your boys can get up next week. I’m just thankful to all the Warriors for what they’ve given up to keep the comp going a massive kudos to all of them for what they’re doing for the game. I also wish you guys would get some luck re all these injuries.

I find it funny in the media it’s all about Latrell this Latrell that and zero mention re the eye gouge. Anyway glad Wayne didn’t spill what was going on Latrell has a right to privacy. Apparently his Nanna passed away last night though so I feel for him.Holy Moly wrote:

Mate the media is a nasty piec of work. They'd ruin anyone's life to get people to read their stories. The players are just ordinary fellas living in an extraordinary world. They have to deal with it at a very young agae, if they wanna keep their living.

It's been so long for them. It's not like the Titans. The warriors represent New Zealand. They're worthy. It doesn't make sense that they can fall so short for this long.

I like to think I'm a neutral observer as I watch a lot of games for fantasy reasons and Warriors been getting shit calls forever and everyone knows it and some refs are worse than others.
Blake Kakariki, an Australian, last season who's played with many clubs had a burst at the refs saying you've got it in for us and he wasn't wrong

I’m up to rank 243, I’ll enjoy it overnight as it’ll be short lived, I’ve had 11 play and most have only had around 8 play lol.

It wasn't an eye gouge mate. There were fingers around the face but he didn't actually have his fingers in Trells eye. Just a good old facial...
And with the Latrell in the media thing that's just what happens. Can't change it. Happened at the roosters aswell, just attracts so much negative media attention hence why I was glad to see him go.

As far as some refs are concerned absolutely. I've seen games we've won against all odds or games just lost marginally because the refs finger was on the scales
