I guess unless Seibold comes out and says... Look we wanted to give Luke some minutes under his legs straight up this week to get his fitness back up. He will play 25-30 moving forward and Paix will play 50-55.... or visa versa.... If Paix is a half why don't they chuck Paix in at half and have Luke play the 80?

Yeah that sounds like a nice fantasy outcome but also wouldn't be surprised at seibs choices, especially hearing some of the broncos fans breakdown of his moves. Its true, alot of stupid moves. Fantasy aside, last night I couldn't believe it unfolded that way, that Luke started over Paix. Shot the confidence potently of Paix, aside from when is the last time Luke has been a dominant focused starter.

Not to mention the fact he has been at the club for 5 minutes and gets 50 minutes off the bat... He is someone with a big ego as well so that could go to his head and now Paix would be thinking well fuck I have put my body on the line for 2 weeks, it came out in the media that Bully was only coming in as a back up and mentor for Paix/Turpin and then he comes out and does that... That's why players have no faith in their fucking coach. Hearing one thing during the week and a different come game day.. Not what you want.

I'm actually not that surprised to be honest. Luke is an experienced first grader, versus a rookie half back filling in at hooker.

Two things will happen this week

    1) a season ending injury to a half or a back that will force a cow into a team for the rest of the year
    2) a cow trying to crack his teams top 17 will be brought by a team in need of some injection and will find his way into the starting 17 (Saab, Sailor)

I would hope for number 2.

I'm not surpirsed either. I would expect Luke to go back to the bench when Turpin is back though

I would understand if he gave Luke a week on the sideline to get into the team fold, gel with the group, give him 30 off the bench to get up some match fitness, especially for someone who hasn't been first choice hooker for a couple years.. and he also came to the club on Tuesday, plus your coach says this:

"Issac knows he's been brought into the group to support Cory and Jake; he is clear on that and is happy to play a role for us," Broncos coach Anthony Seibold said.

And then to go out and play 50 minutes in your first week. I'd be pretty annoyed haha.

I think that is more a problem with what he said, rather than what he did. And, yeah, I'd be pissed too.

Anyways.... My main toss up this week was Ponga vs Crichton... I went Crichton and Ponga has scored 68. I hope Crichton scores 70+.

I think Ponga or Teddy NEED to come into my team next week though, otherwise they'll BOTH be 900K+ and way out of reach.

    Luke to Hooker
    Paix to Five-eighth
    Milford to Fullback
    Isaako to Wing
    Coates to Centre
    Boyd to Interchange

This coaching gig is piss easy 😜😂

I'd steer clear of Christian Crichton, he's really not very good study

I think it will be very hard for teams who don't have at least one of Ponga or Teddy.

NZ radio reporting that JDB is in discussions with Warriors to play for them if cleared to return to NRL.

Is that a possibility? What is required for JDB/when is his trial etc?

I don't hate it. Probably start TPJ over Bullemor. Don't know about Milf at centre, but whatever it takes to remove Boyd I suppose.

No chance for cows imo they look shot. Rabbits have been decently impressive against good teams the last few weeks. I think it'll be a race between tigers, rabbits and warriors with Broncos a chance if they can go on a good run with players back.
