In order: Papy, Katoa, Leilua, JMK, Mann

WFB is tough position to fit in 3 guns, so would be happy to keep Papy

2RF & HLF both have guns averaging around 10 points higher than above players so if you can fit trades in, it's worthwhile - Katoa over Leilua I think, because Leilua has more value which could get gun easier & JMK over Mann for consistent 40+ tackle count

Moore is a funny case. Only actually played 7 games of NRL but became infamous for sucking in so many people in fantasy. I doubled down on this that very same year by also picking up Tom Humble after a blistering Panthers debut!

Surely xavier coates is worth a shout? He will probably keep that wing spot. Cover if you absolutely need it and low price? But then again maybe Herb scores more and is $30k cheaper.

I am missing a lot of the major guns (Teddy, Haas, Cook, McInnes, Smith.. the list goes on and on). And having my worse fantasy season since my rookie year of circa 2010 to boot.

In tossing up which guns to bring in, I make a call on what they will average for the rest of the season. Here's a list (mainly players on my watch list, not exhaustive) assuming the current free flowing style of play continues!

Where are my major errors of judgement - I know I have plenty 'cos my team is going crap?

AVERAGE 75: Haas, McInnes
AVERAGE 70: -
AVERAGE 65: Smith, Cook, Lolo, Teddy
AVERAGE 60: Cleary, DCE, Moses, Koro, McCullough, Ponga, Twal
AVERAGE 55-60: Gus, DFifi, Matterson
AVERAGE 55: Yeo, Fotuaka, Grant, Jurbo, Marty, SJ, Tohu, Papali, Klem, Munster, JFH
AVERAGE 50-55: Arrow, Carrigan, Hors, Trbo, Murray
AVERAGE 50: Friend, Katoa, RTS, Robson
AVERAGE 45-50: Latrell, Papy

Based on this, I have just one of the 6 players I think will go best for the rest of the year.

Didn't Herbie score better than Coates last year? Much better base stats if I remember correctly.

I'd probably go Katoa, Papy, JMK, Leilua, Mann if playing in your 17. Papy first if it was for you 18th man.
