I thought he was good. I have many other people to worry about but is he worth trading?

Scored a lot of tries in his career. Probably priced about what he worth but will likely be close to a keeper pending this year's form.

If he starts centre next week again I'll toss him. If he's back to the second row, I'll just keep him I think.

Jumping Marlin gets an extra 40 points because I didn't calculate Steve Turner's AE correctly, and he jumps from last to 12th.

Shows how close the comp is when I player can make that much difference

    Greg Inglis
    Hazem El Masri
    Tony Martin
    Mark Gasnier
    Jerome Ropati
    Cooper Cronk
    Jonathan Thurston
    Steve Price

    Andrew Johns
    Jamie Soward
    Antonio Kaufusi
    Riley Brown
    Lee Hookey
    Jacob Lillyman
    Josh Cordoba
    Michael Luck

Tony Martin getting another go as playing centre this weekend And $100,000 cheaper than Boyd, if/when he fluffs I’ll jump on Two Try, Turner or Albert next week

@ Welshy - why don't you sell Shillington instead of Boyd to get Hannant.

Can't see trades from Wolfking, Easy Tiger or Shadow Sabre

if you don't send anything you just get last week's team again by default.

If you've sent something and I've missed it, let me know

Next week I think I'll do 2 threads, one for general discussion, and one for trades only to make it easier for me to track them (and feel free to use PMs if you don't want to post in the thread)

I like the value in Shillington mate, I think the bench forwards I have can out average Boyd

Screw playing the long strategic game, I think my team may be average in the long run with my initial picks anyway, so double gunning right away.

Benji Marshall out for Andrew Johns
Braith Anasta out for Greg Inglis

    Cameron Smith
    Shane Webcke
    Petero Civoniceva
    Steve Menzies
    Craig Stapleton
    Dallas Johnson
    Jamie Soward
    Andrew Johns
    Greg Inglis
    Lee Hookey
    Anthony Minichiello
    Hazem El Masri
    Darius Boyd

    Casey McGuire
    Ben Hannant
    Tony Martin
    Michael Luck

    Adrian Purtell
    Neville Costigan
    Bryan Norrie
    Tom Learoyd-Lars

42K left I think. I hope I listed the names right.

    Full team PM’d

Trades are Thurston/Albert in and Fitzgibbon/Norton out

    INS
Originally had Johns in at his lower price, but Thurston night never get to a lower price. I think someone said they don’t remember him scoring lots of tries in here. My memory is he scored 10-12 tries a season a lot in his early career... just have to hope this is one of those years, plus all the kicks and try assists. Won’t tackle as much as Joey though.

Also originally wanted Kingston instead of Albert but I have a lot of hookers already, mostly overpriced it seems, and with Schif out for 1-3 weeks I need to get lucky with WFB cheapies jagging some tries.

    OUTS
Based on two team lists listed as FRF I’m guessing Fitz is done as a reliable keeper. Could be way wrong.

My halves were fantasy NRL picks - Norton and McGuire. The thing is I don’t think either would be scoring well in that format either. Held McGuire over Norton because he’s more likely to score a try listed a centre this week, and also had less cash to lose.

    Other worries:
    McGuire - see above
Schif - gambling its one week out as had other problems to trade out, but not great having that much cash in reserves
Simmonds - still hoping 2006 is the one season he scored a lot of tries
Martin - think he might still come good! Almost put him in my 17 again this week. But he needs to come good soon otherwise will have to move.
Luck - I thought Luck tackled a lot back in the day, then he scores 13 as a starting 2RF. Maybe limited minutes due to a knock? Will see this week if he can turn it around

I got a bunch of other players that didn’t set the world on fire but you can only track so many problems.

Pretty sure you don't get any points for Try Assists, but hopefully jags some more try's
