Half of Stagg's 80 minute centre scores are 32 or less.

Exclude games where he scored 2 tries and his average is 33.

Basically he has to kick a lot of goals or score a lot of tries to be worth it. He has a low floor so you have to expect a bunch of scores in the 20 to go with the 60+ that will pop up from time to time.

I'd rather Burns or one of the 2nd row options for that price range

I'm warming to picking Emre Guler in my 18-21. One to watch this year.

You'll find Luciano is quite popular here

Joey is less popular, but still a few people around considering him.

Could give Kerr a bench spot to take up the Sims 30ish minutes.

I'm amazed Burns is being talked up as a no questions asked gun on here, when he's actually an expensive punt. Yes, he loves his slapsies, and he might do well, but he's played about a dozen games in his career. At the same price, Leilua has fantasy pedigree and season after season of terrorising defences. In fairness Burns is priced at 34 and has an average of 45 in his eight injury unaffected starts at centre so Roberts is a bizarre comparison, especially considering Souths left edge has Murray, Walker, Mitchell and Burns (ie most of the traffic will go that way) so I can't see his run metres or tackle busts going down when he'll be seeing plenty of ball and a lot of tries down that side. Also worth noting that last season he forced Greg Inglis to move to right centre so you can see why people would get excited.

You can also talk about injury risk but is it much more of a risk than Leilua who played 9 games last year? At the very least they would absolutely have to be in the same conversation on cut priced keeper centres

Even if Herman gets lock he’d score well but it’s likely short term
