Teams that can't make the 8 should just forfeit all their games for the rest of the year

Technically we can make the 8 but can't win the spoon. Life's good.

Fuck we don't want him. Don't need anyone like that in Melbourne. We have Walters, Croft, Munnie, BS9, Grant, Hughes, Pappy who can all play anywhere from 1-9.

    Harry Grant watch -

    101 fantasy points (2 tries, 105 metres, 2LB, 3LBA's, 2TA, 3TB's, 2OL, 41 TCK). Can't wait to see this kid in the NRL.

    Curtis Scott also played.

JRey seems like exactly the kind of player successful teams like Storm and Roosters stash at 18-21 to win them games through Origin and injury crises, while the rest of the comp shakes their fists instead of actually getting better at building a team.

But I was thinking a few weeks ago, he's actually a great fit for the Titans. They need cultural change and some leaders - he seems the perfect guy to come in and help drive change and lead from the front. He's experienced, he's super competitive, he's won stuff before, brain snaps aside he's a real team first player. And they could get him cheap because I assume the Tigers will pay most of his salary.

Not terribly relevant but Walters is signing with the Tigers apparently.

Did hear this in the last few days. Not sure ho much substance is involved.

Watson suffered a low grade MCL sprain. Will miss this weeks clash but is expected to return in Rd 24. Most minor (grade 1) MCL sprains allow a return within 1-3 weeks.

Farah has been told not to play again this season by doctors, but apparently he wants to play. I assume he'll have a dig and break again .. ?

Yep. We'll be Covering up to $500k max per year if he finds a new team

I think you need trades to do that.

Has the Jazz sausage party finally finished? What a wonderful day.

He's averaging 57 if you exclude his sin-bin game and still 45 including it since starting at hooker.
I'd consider it if I had three or four trades left and $100k in the bank to upgrade to a JTurbo/Ma'u/JFH but it's definitely a luxury trade and I wouldn't be using my last one or two trades on it given how injuries have gone the last couple of weeks.

If it ain't broke (read: not playing) then don't fix it.

Because it's something I like doing every now and then, this is the team of the highest total points scorers across the season, ignoring salary cap constraints.

    Smith (c)
    Haas, Taupau
    Matterson, Murray, JFH
    Moses, Munster
    Bateman, Nikora
    Milford, Tedesco, RTS

    McInnes, Cook, JTurbo, Mahoney

Honorable mentions to KBrom, Tamou, Twal and Brooks who have all scored over 1000 points for the season but less than other players in their positions/bench players.

Captaining Smith every round, this team has scored 20,423 points and would be sitting in 10th position without having made any trades.

I think it's a tough one with Jazz. He does suffer playing hooker but if he moves back to lock this week with Luke back, you have to keep him. Even if he's moved to the bench, I agree unless you have money to get a gun for him, I'd give him another week. his ankle injury did seem to be troubling him a lot on the weekend. He was hobbling and basically useless. Even after the sin bin he didn't come back. With the injury he'd be useless at number 13 so it's borderline and a flip of a coin. If he starts at 13 though, I'd keep him.
