Only first and last count. Anywhere in between is irrelevant. 2nd is no different to 15th in the record books.

I disagree. Consecutive years of a team being in the bottom 8 compared to being inside the top 8 will definitely have a lasting impression. Saying there is no difference between 2nd and 15th usually comes from fans of struggling clubs such as yourself to justify their shit performance over a number of years.Your Name wrote:

97 and 2001 are the only years that matter for me as a Knights fan because that's the year we won the premiership. Years we've finished in the top 4 but haven't won I wouldn't even remember because it's nothing to look back on
