Milf will be playing half injured and at FB, probably not the best trade in honestly.

Are people seriously considering trading SJ out? He scored 73 the game before last.
Last two game average is still 50+.

There is so much buy-high sell-low going on this year.

As everyone knows, SJ is rocks and diamonds. Yes it was naive to think the one round he would be useful to own that he would do good.

But that doesn’t hate him any less for his shit show.

The top 4 actual centres (excluding Nikora and Bateman) average 43.6, 43.6, 41.7, 41.4

If your exclude his injury game, Burns is averaging 50.7 from 3 games. This is a small sample size and I don’t think it’s sustainable. I may be wrong but I think Burns will average 45 at the most. He is still great value at 443k, I just can’t see him averaging 50 by the end of the season

If he’s averaging 45, isn’t he pretty much second tier centre at a much lower cost than alternatives, with dual position cover?

    Tier one: Bateman
    Two: Nikora, Mitchell, Burns?, Marsters
Three: everyone else average high 30s and inconsistent as

I’ve been looking at Xerri/Mann to cashout to get one last gun.

I wasn’t even considering Nikora to Burns plus cash to get a gun, now I’m thinking it’s not a bad move if I do that plus have Xerri as cover. which I think is the opposite effect you were intending lol.

Small sample size sucks, but two 80 min games last year were also 43 and 50, and we make big calls on far less sample all the time **coughjazz55+avgcough**

We should hear more soon enough, but I reckon he might go back into the halves while we have no other fit halfbacks.

Darius in the post game on Sunday did sound resigned to moving to 6, but Darius + Turps in the halves sounds awful.

I think Queensland will really lift on Wednesday, wouldn't be confident at all on that bet. Too many clowns on the news getting overconfident about the win as well. Could end up jinxing us. I'm on Queensland 5.5+ first half points into first try 8 or more minutes later at the moment at $3. Pretty good odds I reckon

Maybe, but doesn't eliminate the fact he isn't 100%. Personally I wouldn't be trading in a player who is playing injured and needs surgery at some point to fix his current injury.

Oh, there is no way I'm trading him in.

But as the sole player who can kick a ball, he should kick 600m.

People who held him would be happy.

Is SJ even mentioned as a trade out if he scores 45+? Rolling Eyes

Some were saying they're glad they went Brooks over him, scoring an extra 13 points with 44 for 124k more. Those handful of points make all the difference to consider burning another trade on SJ I guess.

He scored 21 two weeks ago, so can't say a crap score was totally unexpected.

Even though Sharks are 3 wins from 9 with SJ and 4 from 6 with Flanno, I can't see them dropping SJ when Flanno's Roosters bound next year. SJ is in their future planning or they wouldn't have let Flanno go.

    -Milford trained at fullback.
-Coates trained at right centre. nice
-Isaako is back and trained right wing.

I'm going to play him over Nikora this week (unless he's required in WFB, which he probably will be)

Coates into the centres would be great for me this round potentially having to cover one of Ponga/Tedesco (hopefully not both!)
Also if he managed to get DPP and holds his spot then that would be huge for the run home.

I'd put Burns average closer to 40 than 45 like most gun CTRs. Marsters and Latrell have the goalkicking advantage and all 3 seem to have the attacking prowess.

Yeah fair to put him into that group but I think he should be alright for the rest of the season after a long lay-off for that hamstring injury.

I heard that one of the head physios quit when Turbo re-injured his hammy after telling Dessy not to play Turbo after his first injury. Apparently he's got something wrong with him that means he's always going to have problems with it. Add to it his ankle problems and Turbo could be getting 1.1mil for half-seasons

Right now I can trade CNK to Cook with $11k to spare.

If Cook don't play this week, do I trade him in anyway - because if CNK loses more than $11k and Cook stays the same, I'm stuffed (this would be my 2nd last trade, so if I need to downgrade to fund Cook, I am tradeless)
