    I am 1K short of Xerri/Martin > Fainu/Arey

I think Arey will be the highest scoring half for the rest of the year.

Ponga for prez wrote:Hey fellas, I need some help on decisions here,
I have kept ponga throughout his injury, and have no cover in my reserves, should I trade him for ttrbo/wighton/burns? Aiming to trade him back in asap. Also considering twal to klemmer/lodge, anyone wanna help with that? Too sideways? Got 10 trades left, cheers guys
Ponga is definitely not a sell
He is averaging 60 at fullback this year which is well above Wighton and Burns (even if they play an extra game). And I’m not sure if Trbojevic will maintain his current average considering he has never finished a season with above 50 average.

Twal to Klemmer is a little sideways but you have heaps of trades so it’s probably not a bad move

I wonder if Xerri will get DPP even though he isn't being named in wing he has been spending most his time there.

Have the exact funds leaving $0 itb to go with

Watson and Xerri out. Turbo and Munster in.

First trade thoughts. Obviously a lot can happen during origin. Just tinkering away.

Amazing moves frankly. Wouldn’t sweat potentially needing one match out of Mann. If that concerned don’t worry about the Mann to Burns. Just hold the Watson to Turbo until a week later when you have ponga back
Jake is better than Tom imo

Although Jurbo has a great passing game he sadly isn't classified as a WFB or HLF Sad
Need a WFB or HLF for my last slot of my 17 - a HLF though would leave me without WFB cover unless I get Burns next week whereas getting TTurbo allows me to move Ponga to INT

    Nikora, Xerri
    Ponga, Teddy, RTS

    Milford, SST, Tevaga, Fainu

Only 4 trades left and 41k, might be even smarter to not trade at all

    Any ideas lads?

Has anyone thought about Nat Butcher? 54 avg if you take out three games under 30 mins at start of year. I bought in SST and Fainu, seriously looked at Jazz, but in hindsight Butcher might have been the best option at a similar price. More expensive now but is still cheaper than Jurbo and Matterson if you think 54 is sustainable and need forwards. I’m almost talking myself into him typing this...

If you don’t care about cover how would you rank the below players in terms of priority to trade out.

    My thoughts

    Watson
    Xerri
    SJ
    cnk
    Fainu
    Nikora

Butcher is a fantasy magnet. Goes looking for points! Only worry his minutes. He seems to have taken over Radley's role while Friend has been out. Friend back this week so Radley may take his spot back.

great player, but he's in a purple patch because he's been plugging holes that have appeared in their forward pack, they are getting all their players back now, so in a full-strength Roosters side, he'll be on the bench playing 30 minutes or so, not worth the large investment

DCE saying he is finally back to 100% and has been playing hurt for the last 2 months. Subsequently, his average in the last 2 months is 38.5 compared to 67 before that. Says this week he has completed every training session, which he has not done since being back from injury. Maybe him being back to 100% will see his scores lift and possibly take the kicking back? DCE will come in to my halves next week for the run home I think.

What are your thoughts on Xerri/Mahoney in your team? Surely Mahoney won't stay around all year? That is 4 HOK on your bench. Are you looking at keeping both Xerri and CNK for WFB/CTR coverage? Can you hold trades for a week and wait for all teams to be full strength? Knights play Friday night so thats a plus.

With any luck Paix will be named so you can cash out Lomax for Paix who you can play at half for Ponga and yep then Watson to Fifita. Alternatively Field/Nicholls/Walters should give you enough if they get another run with origin restings.

    Thanks lads.

I do have a question mark on Mahoney indeed but he is a solid option but I know in regards to 4 hookers on my bench. I can indeed hold trades but not having Fifita is a worry ths week, but 1 week shouldn't do too much damage. I guess I have to wait and see for team lists and origin. Paix playing would be damn tempting to trade in allowing me to get Fifita.

I'll keep an eye out for DCE as I won't be making any trades until R18 and finalizing my team. Until then the great decision looms on my final gun with 2 trades for the run home.

    J Turbo
    Pro: Very consistent
Con: 2RF is a position I'm well covered for

    T Turbo
    Pro: High ceiling
    Con: Low floor

    Hunt
    Pro: Massive POD
    Con: Massive risk

    Munster
Pro: One of my favourite players
    Con: Likely to be rested

    Klemmer
    Pro: Very affordable and consistent
Con: Brown could possibly reduce his minutes heading to the finals

    Only 40k itb,
Mann & arthurs to paix (or any other 212k player) and tevaga
    Leaves me with this
    Cook
    Fifi   haas
    Taupau   murray   tolo
    Pearce    sj
    Bateman     nikora
    Rts    teddy    ponga

    Smith McInnes fainu  tevaga

Dbrown lomax  coates (other 212k player)

Not the best team is only first year at this and hav learnt a hell of a lot.
Tevaga is out for possibly two weeks so probably isn’t the best trade-in option
