Has anybody ever developed an expected points model for NRL, similar to xg in soccer? Or does anybody have interest in something like that?

Working on something... keen to know people's thoughts.

If it is one of us I'd be happy to help out with the thinking and some code - could be a fun task.

I suspect several versions of these already live within gambling agencies, at which point you might as well cut out the middle man and just read the points-split odds.

Titans and Warriors squads to be trimmed in 5mins.
Will be interesting to see if Nikorima is still in there. Keighran staying in means Niko still a risk, same with Ligi Sao for Jazzy.

EDIT:

Satae bumped.
Sao and Pompey stay in the 19.

I expect a response from the Dragons tonight, I’m confident my boys can come him strong though and get the win.

When I get there I’ll be interested to see how many Dragons fans have turned up.

There's barely been any talk of Jazz being out, still managing his injury as he has been the past two months.

Dragons have too much shit going on, Frizell wants out, spine constantly changing. Bunnies are heating up coming into the finals, getting players back and fit. I'm tipping a big win.... mainly for my bet to get up. I also think Knights respond to last weeks late slump with a massive performance to put the Tigers into holiday mode for the rest of the year.

If it was bad he would have been cut, although I can see Burr taking some of his mins this week as management to his ankle.

There is also a slight chance that he could have traded Tevaga for Cook and captained him. I thought the other week someone near the top was on captain Mahoney but it changed to captain Cook at the lockout of the game
