What do you guys think of my trade plan? Got 9 trades left before using any this week, and ranked 181st.

This week: Havili, Kenny and Mahoney to SJ, Coates and Tevaga - leaves me with 6 trades and 218k

Next week: Xerri to Burns, leaves me with 5 trades left.

Sometime later on: DBrown and Fainu out for at least one genuine gun, depending on who I can afford.

    Final team would be:

    Cook
    Fifi, Haas
    Jurbo, Lolo, Murray
    SJ, Munster
    Burns, Bateman
    Teddy, Ponga, Wighton

    CS9, (Fainu's replacement), TKO, Tevaga

    Nikora, (DBrown's replacement), To'o, Coates

    We are done.

    Average opposition ranking: 5.9

Does any team have a tougher end to the season than that?

Round 9-19 Tigers averaged 5.9 also with only the Cowboys in Townsville the outside the 8 team.

If Milford is out longish term then Boyd probably goes back to fb.. fucking lol.

Corey Paix may debut in the halves..

Alternatively Isaako could play 1 but his form has been poor. Almost a cash out at 309k though.

    Chris Garry
    @ChrisGarry7
MAJOR BLOW - Broncos confirm  @7NewsBrisbane  report last night - knee injury for Anthony Milford -  lateral meniscus tear the technical term... full extent of injury not known... but expect at least a month out for Milford. Could be season ending if he requires surgery.

    Another trade bites the dust.

In the past month I've traded in Reynolds, Deardon and Milford and all 3 have gotten injured. Traded Reynolds in for round 12, got injured, traded him out. Traded Deardon in the following week, got injured, traded him out. Traded Milford in two weeks ago and now he's injured and will be another forced trade.

No wonder I still have Robbie fucking Farah.

    Yep.

The silver lining is the cash it frees up.

10-19? They played the Panthers in round 9 who are 11th.
Tough schedule though. Only two teams after that outside the eight? (Dogs, Dragons)

The cash freed up from milf to sj affords me to go martin to klemmer which isn't bad. Just not overly confident on SJ being a keeper.

I have ARey and SJ, two of the most injury prone halves in the game.

I have kept Farah this long because he was playing Round 16 but now I feel that the cash he loses is going to hinder me more than its worth to get the 35 points he might score this week. With that said I think I will make the following trades this week:

    Havili > Coates
    Farah > McInnes
    Martin > Tevaga

This leaves me with 3 trades, 57k and the following team. (Rd 16 players in bold)

    Current rank = 339

    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Taumalolo Jurbo Murray
    DCE SJ
    Bateman Nikora
    Tedesco Ponga Watson

    Smith McInnes SST Fainu/Tevaga
    Fainu/Tevaga Carrigan Coates Brittain

My plan is to then get Turbo in for Watson once he closes the gap in their prices enough.

Leaves 2 trades to get me home, yikes.

Would love some feedback if anyone has the time Smile

Think I'll pass on Tevaga. He's priced awkwardly and job security is a huge risk at this stage of the game.

If Boyd stays at 6 and Isakko goes to FB, he's a decent option, plus might mean Coates gets a bit of a run.

Trading Mahoney out over Farah is insane right? Trading Farah out will leave me with like 9-10 players though.

I'm just finding it very difficult to justify trading Mahoney at all.

You said you're low on funds for what you want to do. Have you considered trading To'o? I'm selling him this week to a cash out that plays rd 16. He's got more cash to make, but points are more important, both the ones now from getting a cheapie's rd 16 points and in the future by getting the gun you want with the liberated dollars. Just a matter of whether it gives you the cover you want and if you'd rather have the trade for later on.

Trading To'o isn't worth it since I'm already trading Kenny to a cashout and don't want more than one in my final side. I'd rather take a punt on Tevaga and keep To'o in my back pocket for a while longer (especially for R17, since if Ted gets rested, I will need both him and Burns to cover)
