I'm still tempted, extra run metres and tb's and potentially attacking stats whilst ? retaining kick metres seems a decent shout. But with this injury talk, the Broncos being shit and the uncertainty around how he will go at the back I think I might have to pass. SJ and Moses are my other halves so I don't necessarily need another half, Watson gives me short term cover but he'll likely be traded out rd 18 so won't have long term cover.

    A. Stick with the Milford trade-in

    B. Find another half

    C. Trade someone else in like Matterson and worry about cover after later on.

Actually, I guess after rd 18 Burns would give me half cover via Ponga. (Though that means Burns is covering three positions)

    Thanks lads!

I'm considering making all 4 trades which will leave me with only 4 left and 17k ITB. My team is in a bit of turmoil so I'm in the "fuck it" kind of mood.

    Milford > SJ
    Farah > McInnes
    Garrick > Coates
    Martin > Klemmer

After round 16 this would be my team if I went through with these trades:

    Cook
    Fifita, Haas
    Taumalolo, Murray, Taupau
    Pearce, SJ
    Bateman, Nikora
    Ponga, Tedesco, RTS

    Haas, McInnes, Mahoney, Fainu
    Tevaga, Xerri, Coates, Hutchison

It's looking likely I will miss out on Smith, TTurbo, DCE and Jurbo this season Sad

Trading To'o isn't worth it since I'm already trading Kenny to a cashout and don't want more than one in my final side. I'd rather take a punt on Tevaga and keep To'o in my back pocket for a while longer (especially for R17, since if Ted gets rested, I will need both him and Burns to cover)

Does Teddy get rested again after being rested in R14. Roosters will probably rest Cordner as he hasn't been rested yet but before and during Origin period they've rested:
    R11: Cronk
    R13: Mitchell + Crichton
    R14: Tedesco
    R17: ??

Roosters now 6 points behind Storm with 2nd/3rd/4th a bit of a logjam at the moment (4 points between 2nd and 9th)

You got Haas twice in your squad

They won't rest Ted again imo, injuries are another matter though. I'll likely cash out both Kenny and To'o though and take the risk. I will be trying to cash out to guys that will keep playing though, like Coates if Isaako is FB or Moga if he gets a run for a few weeks while Lee is out for that extra cover. Keeping To'o's funds locked up is a luxury I can't afford I reckon, hopefully doesn't bite me.

Fair enough. If I could afford to just go To'o to Tevaga (20k short of doing that), I would do that instead.

@Fraser wrote:I have kept Farah this long because he was playing Round 16 but now I feel that the cash he loses is going to hinder me more than its worth to get the 35 points he might score this week. With that said I think I will make the following trades this week:

    Havili > Coates
    Farah > McInnes
    Martin > Tevaga

This leaves me with 3 trades, 57k and the following team. (Rd 16 players in bold)

    Current rank = 339

    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Taumalolo Jurbo Murray
    DCE SJ
    Bateman Nikora
    Tedesco Ponga Watson

    Smith McInnes SST Fainu/Tevaga
    Fainu/Tevaga Carrigan Coates Brittain

My plan is to then get Turbo in for Watson once he closes the gap in their prices enough.

Leaves 2 trades to get me home, yikes.

Would love some feedback if anyone has the time Smile

I think your plan is sound. Risks are of course that Tevaga doesn't get the role you're expecting and/or Koro comes back on the early side and then you are burning trades to fix it that you don't have, but most are low on trades. And your reserves would be weak but most teams would be too. You would have an excellent 17 though, probably the best you could get in your situation. But man you are going to have to hold on for grim death the final rounds.

This week: Havili, Kenny and Mahoney to SJ, Coates and Tevaga - leaves me with 6 trades and 218k

Next week: Xerri to Burns, leaves me with 5 trades left.

Sometime later on: DBrown and Fainu out for at least one genuine gun, depending on who I can afford.

    Final team would be:

    Cook
    Fifi, Haas
    Jurbo, Lolo, Murray
    SJ, Munster
    Burns, Bateman
    Teddy, Ponga, Wighton

    CS9, (Fainu's replacement), TKO, Tevaga

    Nikora, (DBrown's replacement), To'o, Coates

Hehe, that one might decide the minor prem since I beat EELS2019 this week. It'll be a hard ask for me since you have more guys available for this round, so I really need Xerri and Tevaga to fire in order to stand a chance

Fuck it. Might as well hold Milford and wait for miracle next week. Then Milf/Watson to DCE/Jurbo next week. Leaves me way light on trades though, will have 2 when really wanted 6+. Eight weeks is a long time, lots of people will have some pretty shoddy R24 teams.
