I am finding it hard to take the C off Taumalolo. Which is great as a non-Cook owner. Lolo is just in amazing form and getting the minutes. At home to the Tigers as well....

However! The Tigers have the lowest amount of missed tackles in the comp. Only 270, 30 below Storm: https://www.nrl.com/stats/teams/?competition=111&season=2019&stat=4

Fifi has Raiders away, Smith has Knights at home which looks safe. Otherwise, attractive risky pick looks like Teddy at home to Dogs. Plenty of tackle busting on offer there.

Risk it with Teddy or back Taumalolo to keep his form and minutes up or go safe with Smith?

Who are people likely skimping on for final 17 - surely DCE, JTurbo are major priorities post Origin
Thinking 3rd WFB and 4th bench is where I'm going to have to get innovative

Buying Munster at peak price has really screwed me (don't think he is a keeper anymore) + Dearden getting injured

Thinking 4th bench might have to be someone like Harris/SST instead of Matterson unless I avoid TTurbo post Origin

Hey fellas, whats the concensus regarding Nathan brown (the player not the coach)? Should play 80? seem to remember he finished last year quite strong. What are your thoughts? could be a cut priced keeper along SST.

He probably won't play 80 but he doesn't need to. He'll average 50-something most likely, so whether that "something" is enough to make up for not playing round 16 is anyone's guess but definitely a decent shout.

JTurbo is the one guy I want in NOW but I'm worried over R16 numbers so keep resisting and looking at KBrom/Matterson. Matterson is a HUGE origin risk though

i wouldn't worry about Munster, anything involving dumping him will be sideways at very best

Is it worth bringing in Teddy now or is it better to wait until after the Origin period?

    3 best captain options are

Taumalolo (66) - gone within 3 of average 5/7 games (discounting injury game)
Haas (63) - gone within 3 of average 5/8 games
Cook (64) - gone within 3 of average 8/12 games

Keeping an eye on what his price bottom outs to. Same with SJ

I'm really tempted to captain Cook this week, no Brittain in 21 man squad so guaranteed 80 mins and Panthers have some of the worst offenders for MT in the league (JFH & Maloney especially and add to that Martin, Kenny)

I'd go Cook if I had him, really backing up with less minutes can discount his last round and he has gone within 3 of current average 8/11 times. Tlolo would need to keep up his huge minutes to keep up with Cook long term I reckon or keep scoring

Odds seem high he'll get rested after Origin 3, so might be worth the wait

Yeah, I have already decided against it haha, keeping CNK a while longer is probably the smarter play. Kinda hate having 4 trades available, so tempting to get guys in I really should be patient on.

I'll probably forgo both and instead go for some POD options - Milfrod SJ Brown Harris SST Matterson.

Is it worth trading CNK now if you think he's going to drop a bit of cash or hold firm and hope he gets a decent score?

Could be 5-6 points undervalued. Could be more. He's a risk as he seems a bit injury prone and he doesn't play the bye so there may be better options.

Cam Murray at $750k only $50k more than he is. Also doesn't play the buy but I'd say he's more of a shout, though most will already have him.
JTurbo at $760k is probably everyones best bet at 2RF but again, doesn't play the bye.
Matterson is the option everyone around here seems to be going for but there's every chance he plays origin as well and is basically the same price as JTurbo.
Taupau can slot into 2RF if you don't already have him at $716k but again, doesn't play the next bye.

KBrom is the obvious choice if you're looking at Nathan Brown. Same price, he's averaging 50+ AND plays the bye. Low risk.
Nathan Brown could end up averaging 60 for the rest of the year. He could also be injured again in 3 weeks. That's the game we play!

Thanks boss for the great reply,

Agree with what you say, might just wait and look on brown. Have murray and taupau, just tossing up the other 3 options now.
