Definitely don't agree with trading in Lomax at this stage. Most of his cash has been made and he has one career score over 35. He has maybe 80k left in him and I don't think that is worth burning two trades

I'm thinking of just leaving him in as WFB/CTR cover for the remainder of the year really. That's really my only thinking behind it. I may change my mind this afternoon. Staggs is the only other one I could get but not sure on him. My year isn't great so I'm just lowering my expectations of a final 17 truthfully.

Hmmm....Staggs has hit 30 last 3 games out of 4. Might just be better going for him. No WFB though which Lomax has.

I have done exactly this. It's very liberating.

At this stage of the season should we still be looking at cash cows or more be focusing on cash outs who might play round 16 and will free up extra coin.

For example getting a guy like Hutchinson $235k rather then Mann $307k.

Yeah, I'm happy to count probably 13-14 of my players as keepers as it is, Morgan too if he ever shifts back to the halves. Xerri and Mahoney probably not, but who gives a fuck, Xerri will have a couple more of those games and Mahoney is a good kid, happy to back again this week. I'll even count CNK if he can bust out a 45 tonight! hahaha who gives a shit. Others may laugh but sick of gaining and losing ground week after week not matter what and the unnecessary stress that goes with it. Want to keep playing but just want to try and enjoy it for the second half of the season. The season is going so fast it will be over before we know it and weeks of stress for nothing. Means 6-7 trades and I'll have 17 semi decent players with 4 trades for the run home. That'll do. I'm ranked actually not too bad but can't see myself breaking any of my records so will just roll the dice and the likes of Mahoney, Xerri and hopefully Morgan can become semi PODS once others trade them out.

Hello there punters. Thought I’d drop in and say g’day.

    Rabbit’s Roundup
First of all, the important stuff. I know Milchy will love this. Picked up a new boat yesterday for mainly inshore and bay stuff. A Polycraft 4.1 powered by a 40hp etec.  Nice unit. Putting in a MotorGuide xi5 electric and a live well today, and taking her away to Kauri Creek tomorrow for a 3 dayer with the fishing club, so I’ll be missing games galore. In other words, the wily old Rabbit needs to be very shrewd this week with the trades, because there’ll be no opportunities for late changes. This is what fucked me up the freckle last year.

Currently resting at 157th.....thanks Deardon, you little pea hearted maggot Laughing

So, only two very pointed trades this week. Two R16 guns. Fuck stuffing around with spuds like Watson and the like.

Reyno > RTS, with Ponga sliding into the halves.
    Mahoney > Smith

Leaves 13 trades. Probably too many, but I just don’t see any other worthwhile replacements, without straight sideways trades. They’ll pop up closer to R16 and having the luxury trades will enable some trade-backs, like Reyno, Twal. I’m still thinking about punting JFH, but want to give him  another week. I could be convinced though as he doesn’t play 16. Just don’t see anyone saying ‘pick me’.

Anyway, here’s the mighty Gumbies this week. Read it and weep suckers.

    Cook, Smith, Mcinnes
    Fifita, Haas, Taupau
    Murray, Lolo, JFH, Havili
    Milf, Ponga
    Bateman, Nikora
    RTS, CNK, Sivo

    Garrick, Horsehead, Deardon, Brittain.

That’s 1200 points there. Have a nice day  Flip Off

100% depends on the state of your team: The trades you've got, the players you've got, and the cash you've generated and will generate.

For example, my personal team, if I had the trades, would need cash generation as I haven't generated enough to get the gun 17 most people will be aiming for. I dont have the trades though so I just have to move forward with what I have got. I.e. it looks like I
'll have to keep CNK for the season.

The community team however looks to have made all the money it needs to not only get a gun 17, but a decent 18th man. So it really just needs cash outs.

Basically, you gotta work back from the team you want by round 17/18, see if you can actually afford it. If so great, if not, figure out if you have the trades to generate more cash AND pull together the gun 17/18 team you want.

Still torn on captain this week - thinking Cook captain could actually be a differential up the top - guaranteed 80 mins again and against Panthers who miss a lot (I mean a lot) of tackles. Obviously other option is Taumalolo who should probably get 80 mins with no McLean

Also torn with Xerri v Havili - kinda tempted to play both and put JFH in my EMG - but that seems super backwards when it would make more sense to get rid of him in that case. Think I might just play it safe and go with Havili and hope he busts out one of his 2018 60+ scores when everyone is benching him

For the record, anyone holding Reyno.....looks like he is out for another 3 weeks (maybe longer) according to club sources who are usually reliable. People are amazed he played 74 minutes with the injury.

7 News this morning were also reporting Bennett has said he is happy for Gagai to start looking elsewhere for a new club in 2020

Gagai will go to the Titans. He is 100% a Titans type of signing.

I am tempted to hold JFH, you would think their next loss JFH moves back to an 80 minute lock.

Could even be a late shuffle this week:
RCG moves up to prop, Martin kicks Frank out of 2RF and JFH goes Lock (Don't see this happening though)

Also heard that Bulldogs have a pretty handy warchest they plan to spend over the next 6 months

I reckon this will probably happen.

I don't see the point in starting Winterstein for 20 mins to bench him and then not play him again. What does that add to the team? Why not just play Martin on the edge for the full 80.

    Thoughts please guys?
    A. JFH/Tolman/Arey/Sivo Out - Milf/CS9/Bateman/Carrigan IN +167K ITB

    B. JFH/Tolman/Arey/Sivo Out - DCE/CS9/Bateman/Carrigan IN + 127K ITB

Pretty much DCE vs Milf - Also is there anyone above Carrigan you would prefer with the money I have left over?

Cutting my losses on some shitty recent trade ins of Havili and Farah.

    Deardon - 212k
    Farah - Jake Turbo
    Havili - RTS

Gives meWFB cover for Teddy if he doesn't play. Just need to decide which two to play out of Xerri, Mahoney and CNK.

    Team after trades is;

    Cook
    Fifita, Haas
    Murray, Jurbo, Lolo
    Munster, Cleary
    Xerri, Nikora
    Teddy, RTS, Ponga

    Smith, Bateman, Twal, Mahoney

    CNK, To'o, Brittain, 212k

I'd take DCE as the safer option with his higher ceiling. I know he misses for Origin but Milf would be stressful to own.
