Have him pencilled in for a Carty trade at the moment. Quoted the wrong one. Was meant for the Watson post.

Yeah same here, I'm going to fill it with wannabe guns. And hope they all live up to their potential.
I've never finished higher than 3k, so I'm doing pretty good at the moment. A top 500 finish would be sweet, but I'm aiming for a spot in L1 next season and that requires a spot in the top 150

    Questions:

1 - Do you think he'll score more or less than his current season average of 42? Which is the same as Nikora's last five games average.
2 - Do you think the Sharks will score more of fewer tries with Wade Graham back in the team?

Personally, I am playing Xerri in a loop for the next few weeks and keeping him for the bye. Bateman and Nikora are set and forget centres for me but there's an argument to be made for holding Xerri after the bye.

42 is a gun avg for a CTR in years past, where we didn't have two SRs averaging over 50. Very rare for a true CTR to average higher than that and we have a large sample of CTRs to go by. A 40+ average was always considered a keeper. Latrell averaged 44.7 last year with 15 tries and goalkicking.

So, I'd take the under if I had a gun to my head.

Nikora's averaging 51, cherry-picking the last 5 isn't as relevant as the full sample.

I don't think Wade's going to change things that much. Capewell's defence was the main concern. Wade will probably improve that aspect. I'd probably go over on more tries because he's an upgrade, but I don't think it'll be that many more that it will affect Xerri significantly.

Will have to have a look at my final 17 and check what changes I may need to make with all these injuries lately. At this stage JFH will not be a part of it anymore and Xerri may have to take his place.

I agree. Nikora and Bateman are your top centres, therefore considering Xerri's scores and whether they are good enough for keeper at centre is irrelevant, it's whether or not they are keeper at bench. I would argue that are definitely not keeper at bench when you're up against hookers and 2nd rowers. You might as well keep a Tolman or a Mahoney for their high 40's low 50's average than Xerri who will average low to mid 40's . There'd be more of a case for position 18 as you might be able to loop the high scores and/or play him in your 17 when you have to and he then covers CEN. Ideally won't be in my 17 though.

Well all rumours and news are pointing to Drinkwater to Cows but nothing come of it yet. Apparently Storm are asking for something in return.

Damn, can you still get a spot next season if you didn’t join this year? I was a lazy ass and didn’t join

Carlin Anderson, Kurt Baptiste, Scott Bolton, Javid Bowen, Gavin Cooper, Mitchell Dunn, Ben Hampton, Corey Jensen, Jordan Kahu, Te Maire Martin, Gideon Mosby-Gela, Matthew Scott, Enari Tuala

Here's a list of the off contract players next year. Of that list Corey Jenson, Gideon and probably Dunn peak my interest as young, long term prospects who under the right coaching and managament can have successful careers. I pick Jensen as he is a powerhouse up front and would compliment bromwich and NAS really well. Gideon because Suli is just about on his last legs and Dunn because he has some great potential and a very versatile player.

Let me know what you decide. Going to be a very big concern if he stays at FB. He can be a dangerous player but needs those KM's to his score. I have no idea but might have to hold him as he'll be my only playing half with Dearden and ARey out.

Reece Robson on the bench as Leilua turned up late to captain's run

McInnes should still be right for 80 mins though surely; bench is Field, Robson, Latimore, Sims

I think Jensen is a good player and rumour has it he's keen to look elsewhere so it would make the most sense for a swap with Drinkwater. Unfortunately for us though, we now need him with the Dunn and McLean injuries on the weekend.
