Sam Burgess is really interesting me

Is he regressing or was it a one off bad season!?

Last season he was 6 points under previous 5 season worse average last year

Yes he is sometimes a MT and error machine but he still scores at over GUN level minus last year!

Dual so has some fantasy versatility, currently 10% owned. I'd be backing a return to fantasy form (I know, I know fallen previous gun)

Just can't see him not scoring over 50 this year

Okay so continuing on from before, if you don't take Cook or Smith as your captain, who is your captain? Someone you want starting in your 2019 team who you can captain?

To continue on the hooker discussion. I'm planning on put the (C) on McCullough the first few rounds to gauge how Arrow is travelling. Long term is Arrow if he fulfills his destiny and together we can rule the galaxy as father and son

I can't remember if I researched it or just went along with conventional wisdom, but isn't Surgess likely to play edge where he doesn't score as well?

Without delving too far into the 2RF scoring, even without checking I'd back him to go well over 45 on the edge

Certainly Macca and Arrow are options. Fifita and Jurbo come to mind. Even Crichton and Murray could be a goer. I'm just not as scared as previous years in not having those guys. Last year I didn't take Smith either, I was so confident in Cook.

I would too, but again I don't want him to get 45 with a bit of upside. I want him to bloody well get 50+! Hence my trepidation. Will he get it??

That’s why I don’t understand people not going macca plus smith/cook. Don’t trust a fifita early on in the heat or a Crichton who is still an edge forward who could be inconsistent in a new side. Jake has a new coach, always a concern.

currently Both, but I'll be honest the extra $$ Surgess gives me over Arrow. i wouldn't be investing elsewhere so likely Arrow comes back in

Well if you have Murray that implies you think Surgess will play prop. Could be right too for at least the first three weeks with the suspension (Gurgess from memory?). But if that's the case, who plays right edge?

Like i said earlier mate still need them to start season well, CS9 averaged 52 over first 5 rounds as main captain choice

    Fifita 54
    JTurbo 55
    Taupau 48
    Cook 61

Plus Cook didn't become a viable captain choice until R3/4 after his blistering start
