Smith is out for 1 game but you have good cover in Martin. I reckon if Fonua is named in the Wests starting 13 then buy him & sell JMK & then use the cash for your ctrs.

I've been pleased with Martin, great impulse buy.

Hoping he managed to stick around till Rd17 Laughing

Further on my Koroisau comment last night where I said he missed no tackles against the Broncos. His season missed tackle rate is 4.7 per game so to miss none against the Broncos is interesting. He usually misses tackles because he rushes out of the defensive line & goes for the big hit & he didn't try that at all in the Broncos game as far as I can remember. Maybe Barrett has had a word with him & told him he doesn't need to go for the big hit & just to stay in the the defensive line because the risk of rushing out of the defensive line & missing a tackle leaves holes in the defensive line.

those two 23 scores have scared me off him. even scarier looking at that missed tackle column. surely there are better options out there for everyone trading him in?

Just thinking about the Smith suspension & over the years the whole Storm forward pack have always been dirty players. If there's any opposition player coming back from an injury they will target the injury in a tackle whether it be ankle, knee & so on. I think Smith did that to Proctor because Proctor smashed him earlier in the game & hurt him. Smith knew he couldn't hurt Proctor in a tackle so he reverted doing the dirty cheap payback.

Fergo was pretty damn bad last series but his current club form is great. Can still see him getting the axe though. Off field 'incidents' aren't helping.

Dugan will be dropped. Don't think he's shown enough to warrant selection when Addo-Carr and Turbo are pushing so hard for a spot.

Teddy might survive but that means Keary plays 6 and he will be running off his shoulder all night. I think in Freddy’s eyes, Teddy will not be picked due to the way he left the Tigers. I know it’s Gus, but he was saying there will be a lot of surprises. TommyT fullback, JAC and Cotric wingers. Fergo and Dugan won’t be touched unless Game One implodes terribly. Aitken, Curtis Scott and Croker fighting it out for centre.

Big decision this week - I'm going to keep Smith. I feel like I can move on now and concentrate on keeping my (very rough) plan ticking along.

JMK gets one more week in my 13. I just need a couple of scoots from him... please! I dont want to bring in the 3rd gun WFB until TTurbo is done with origin.... I just need to battle through. I might even give Brimson a run here and there. I like him

Trades, I'm having a good look at Fitzgibbon. I want a r13 gun but I'm a bit torn on the options:

Cowboys - none I want (got Lolo)
Eels - Alvaro, not that keen tbh
Knights - Fitz* (or Watson if I'm looking for a stepping stone)
Rabbitohs - Surgess I want to watch for another week & Crichton perhaps chasing last week's score
    Roosters - none
Sea Eagles - Taupau not value, TTurbo origin, Koro not a keeper
Sharks - Gallen fallen gun but injured (got Fifita)
Tigers - Eisenhuth as a pod - I like him

Bring on TLT to throw all of this out of the window!

I keep swinging between Lamb/Fitz or Lamb/Watson this week. Only have 19 trades so don't think I have the luxury of the second option. Second option though is a good way to get rid of JMK and Sorenson while keeping Havili for one or two more weeks.

I know it’s wishful thinking but I’d love one more week of Peats taking it easy and having the week off

There is someone who is a tad over 3% with a lower than his avg BE who was hitting 55-60 last year.

Yeah I agree re Tapine but he does seem to have a low floor. Verbal mentioned him but base stat king Eisenhuth is worth mentioning.
