Lamb could be value if he's named to start.

I am tossing up between Fifita and Matterson and leaning towards RyMat due to his versatility and the lack of strong options in the halves (SJ, DCE and Matterson seem to be it long term).

375k in bank. Was thinking of moving on afb. Can do fifita but there goes all my moneys. Feel like i need another centre but scared to go dugan and mitchell might play origin this year possibly. Anyways any help would be appreciated

@Claytron As I think Random may have already said mate, I think AFB could make way, along with Kennar. Outside of that there isn't really anything pressing. I would probably move JMK into your 18 in place of Gos but that's just a side note.

It seems daunting burning all your bank (I just did Kennar to Fifita in one, boom, all money gone) but after doing the math it is well worth it! Especially when you take into consideration that you still have some guys there that are generating you coin to enable you to build that bank up again.

With Lodge and Rochow hanging about, both of them could become cheap options as well. Brock Lamb will be worth a look if he takes over Pearces role, Sorenson could be worth a shout if you like to gamble. There's bank building material right there.

Finally, regarding centres (the place where a lot of teams are starting to look light) you can't really stress about origin selection. The best three centres in fantasy at the moment are all a potential chance for origin (Aitken, Mitchell and Dugan) and there's daylight to the next. So, you either bite the bullet on one of the remaining two that you don't have and hope you get it right or you look for a potential upside player. Welshy and I have been discussing Curtis Scott a bit (though he continues to shit the bed at the moment) and then there's others like BJ etc. Either way is a gamble but outside of that your options are limited.

Newcastle sports journo, seems to be very close with the Knights, he's pretty much always on the money when it comes to reporting Knights team list news

Well done on your rank! I really don't understand how I'm doing so well when my team looks the same as everyone else's. It's strange.
I can't believe I'm considering Dugan but he's been scoring well. I'm playing Mitchell and Hiku at then moment so he'd be an improvement, but I did tell myself my centres would be my last position to fix. I really need a half first but never wanted DCE but everyone else is crap.
I only have 10 round 13 players and 5 of them will either play Origin or are being spoken about, so I really should avoid getting more. The bye rounds are going to be what kills me.

I reckon this just comes down to captain choices. The top 200 all look pretty similar bar a few differences.

I have been pretty lucky with my captaincy choices. It's been pick and stick with Captain Cook every week, except I picked Arrow for his 99. No idea what prompted me to switch that week, but it sure was lucky! I was kicking myself after I saw Cook's score in the 70s but it turned out well.

NEWCASTLE coach Nathan Brown has confirmed that Connor Watson will return from injury against the Sea Eagles on Friday.

After losing star recruit Mitchell Pearce for up to four months with a torn pec, Waton’s comeback is timely.

Brown has revealed Watson will don the No.6 jersey for the Knights and partner Jack Cogger in the halves.

“Connor was probably fit to play last week but we thought it’s best to give him another week,” Brown said.

“Connor’s keen and hungry and tough and hell being plenty of commitment and plenty of speed to our team.

“Connor is playing where he sort of trained all year and Coggs is pretty adaptable ... Coggs is probably going to have to assume a little bit more responsibility than probably what he did last week.”

Hiku, Kennar, Isaako or Havili out for Dugan?

Hiku is the only one with a breakeven higher than his average, and is playing the Storm this week. Got to be time for him to go right?

keep looking at Sorensen because of the 70, but his situation strikes me as a bit of a one hit wonder, Graham & Bukuya should be back this week and i'm assuming no news on Lewis' calf issue is good news for him. don't see him ousting Capewell on the bench because of his utility value, and the Sharks carrying 2 edge forwards and a hooker on their bench would be an odd bench make-up.

Thinking of cashing out havali for coggers. That leaves me with no hooker coverage in my EMG. CS9 is rarely a late out (knock on wood) so its just cook i need to manage if shit hits the fan.
