Griffin has a habit of playing new/young bench players for really low minutes. I don't know who Ellis is (for all i know could be the next big thing), but i'd be leaning more to Ellis getting pretty small minutes. Even Leota has been playing around the 20 mins a game, so all signs point to JFH continuing to get big mins. May be good for Merrins mins tho if anyone still has him....

Think I might do Murray > JFH and Doui > Jacks

**Just had a quick look at Jacks stats last year - He has a base avg of 28.3, Negative base avg of -1.3, only had a base kicking avg of 2.1 but that was with Cooper Cronk last year. (in the game they v'd cows he kicked for 148 - no cronk). So far he looks like a nice solid 30+ avg.

**Based of a 12 game sample last year

@Mearcats I'm worried about how I'll get Macca tbf. Even peak maturity for my cows, it'll be a squeeze getting a 900k player

Personally, yeah it's hard to argue against Aitken in the Centres. We have a weird fixation with playing fullbacks in every available position, but I've been arguing with anyone who'll listen for a while now that we need to pick the best player for the role, not who we think is generally the best and then shoehorn them in. Especially on the wing. Good wingers have pretty specialised skills for scoring tries on their preferred wing. We're just hurting ourselves by not picking players who can do that.

If I had to pick the backline, it'd probably look something like:

    1. Teddy
    2. Mansour
    3. Aitken
    4. Tommy Turbo
    5. Addo-Carr
    6. Green/Maloney
    7. Cleary/Maloney

I expect the backline to be something more like:

    1. Teddy
    2. Tommy Turbo
    3. Dugan
    4. Hayne
    5. Fergo
    6. Moylan
    7. Maloney

The first back line is better. Not sure about Addo-Carr because his form hasn't been as good as last seasons so far and the same as Mansour. on the other hand I wouldn't be picking Hayne or Moylan in the team. I think Tommy Turbo should definitely be on the wing this season with Fergo, Aitken and Dugan centres, Teddy fullback and the halves are a lottery. Surely Pearce is finished...

put him in my team for 2 minutes then took him out again. im not convinced he offers more than JMK/croker at this point. he may give you 5-10 points more but at the end of the day will need to be traded out again, so you want him to make that 100-150k.

Can he get to 600k and avg 40? maybe, but im betting against it. in saying that, if no cheapie halves surface soon, i think im gonna have to take a punt on a mid range place holder (towsend, moses, matterson etc) to replace jmk/croker as the second half. owning maloney doesnt look as bad Razz

I need to make 1 trade early before the Roosters game, (getting the shits with Friends unknown minutes now), but will retain a trade waiting on confirmation of Cotric going to fullback or not this week. Could go huge vs Eels at fullback.

Generally don't have enough time to worry too much on the weekend so I'll trade before. If theres a big in doubt or inclusion I'll pay attention but only if it directly affects my moves.

    This week have completed

NAS -> Holmes (both Friday games)
Fualalo -> JFH (Late Saturday and Early Sunday game)

This leaves me flexibility and can undo at any time. Probably wrong to trust fanhub functionality to get me through and I don't doubt that people can hit weird errors but can't guarantee I'll always be able to react so I lock in early.

I think someone mentioned Moylan before.

Averaged 34 last year, 37 at FB from 10 games.

39 at FB the previous two years.

Played 18, 19 and 11 games the past 3 seasons and missed 2 games already this season.

Not sure he's really worth bringing in and I regret starting this season with him after seeing that. Especially since he was playing half when I picked him Laughing

Looks like a bad case of 'the wavering', hold on mate. I got it last year when placed well, started questioning if i was approaching it the same or affected by the rank.

I'm actually on the fence with it mate, hopefully others have the actual guile to form an opinion for you, haha. I'm giving Dufty a few more weeks.

Going through the same thing at the moment, looking at heaps of options to try and squeeze that extra point, but forgetting about the long game.

Don't mind those picks either. Fergo was garbage last origin but he's been in good form this year, probably good enough to get in ahead of Addo-Carr.

If James Roberts can find some form, he'll be one to consider as well.

Yeah, I've been waiting till last minute in rounds to trade because it won't let me reverse during the week without hitting roll back, so I don't want to try reversing/rolling back mid round.

He is priced at around 28.2. Croft average 100KM in the first 5 games. Jacks may not get quite that with Smith back to kicking but he will get close. I reckon Jacks will be around a 35-40 point player which means he still has another 100-160K which has him peaking at around 550K. Here's hoping anyways. One big game in there has a good price wave to ride.

Unless a player I want to trade in or out is in specific doubt, I normally trade on Friday afternoon (unless of course they play on Thursday night)

Depending on weekend plans I can't always guarantee that I'll be able to make the trade.

If possible I'll make any trades through the reserves, rather than starting 13, to make sure they are easy to reverse if required and I'm not stuffed around by DPP players locking out for the trade.
